It cost me a financial loss due to Ms Cohen rushing the contingency case so that she could get paid. She's not concerned with the best interest of the client, I'm sorry to say. They had my case for 19 months. However, I only talked once to my extremely rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, disgusting lawyer and human in the entire world. The lawyer's name was JILL. She talked to me only once for about three minutes. She did not listen to me! She did not answer any of my questions! She was yelling and screaming at me! She did not let me talk! She called me a liar and said no one would believe a person like me. I do not know who the hell she thought she was by talking to her client like this. I paid her to help me with my case, not to call me a liar or scream at me. They had a settlement for my case after eight months, but they held my case for no reason for another 11 months. I was not happy about their trashy work on my case. I asked them to transfer my case to another law firm. Every two to three months, a new person was handling my case. I was not sure why no one does not stay in this Law office for more than a few months, but I know the reason now. The reason was that RUDE woman JILL. I had (have) a work -comp case and chose G&F to handle it. I was injured last July 7/12/23. It is now 6/3/24 and I have not gotten one single phone call from them!!! I've had to do all ALL of the work (document/ getting medical bills paid, travel receipts to and from Dr office etc. I turned in my receipts but was never was reimbursed. Thats just one the tip of the iceberg. NO ONE helped me......still to this day! As my case comes to a close, I needed a confirmation from G&F for the visit (which was crucial). I emailed the firm on a Monday and my Dr appt was the following Friday. (This Dr is booked solid til August) I NEVER heard from the G&F so I had to cancel this very important appt. A week and a half later....I FINALLY got an email from G&F saying "yes, go to your appointment"!!!! WOW!!! I've never felt so disrespected. Total disregard for my case. NO ONE IS ON MY SiDE! It's a horrible feeling after going through such a traumatic accident! It only adds to my pain. I will write an updated version (WITH NAMES) as this case moves along. In my opinion, which may be an isolated case, I wouldn't recommend this firm AT ALL. You be left to fend for yourself having to do all the calls and paperwork. This is truly daunting when you're not familiar with how work comp cases work. In closing I MUST REITERATE..... no one was there for my best interest.
