His quote was reasonable and he scheduled our job a few weeks out and started when he said he would. Each day he showed up on time, and cleaned up at the end of the day. His work is precise, clean, and looks great! We have an exterior door that was previously stained but weathered badly. He recommended sanding and painting it and it came out better than we expected (see attached). We also had him repair and paint a vaulted ceiling and some interior rooms. I hired fresh coat painters last December to resurface/painters my bathroom ceiling. I told them…read morethat the prior contractor had likely painted over dust, causing the paint to peel and that the ceiling would probably need to be sanded and resurfaced. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure their painter just put another coat of paint over the damaged paint which then started to peel again after a few days. I was told multiple times by their representative that no payment would be required and the ceiling would need to be redone by someone else. This would have been fine except I'm now being threatened with a lien on my house for non-payment by the owner Brian Denny. This is what my ceiling currently looks like and what fresh coat painters of South Dayton is expecting payment for.

I should have…read moreknown to go with a different quote when I didn't get a call back the week I was promised one, but still I stuck to this company for my painters. Here I am a week after they "started" the job and no paint has gone on my walls. Day in and day out I get calls with promises that they will be here the next day bright and early. Their word means nothing to them and the boss (Eddie) doesn't seem to stand behind their "we've built this company on quality workmanship and satisfied costumers." Lots of promises on paper and out of mouth and no loyalty to them. "We'll fix your nail pops with screws", they didn't do that until they were called out, "we'll move and protect your furniture", I had to move the furniture and cover it after I noticed it was getting full of sand dust. I'm dumbfounded as to what to do next. How long am I supposed to wait? I would advise to go with the more expensive quote. I'm wishing I had done that right about now.
