The cafe has been relocated to the new upper floor but is woefully short of toilets, a whole two and they're both intended for the diasbled however a wheelchair user would need to run the gauntlet of the tray carrying cafe customers and the closely placed tables in order to use them. To say the layout wasn't very well thought out is a bit of an understatement. Unfortunately the store also has a thriving home delivery service which has expanded into the carpark. Shoppers use the free parking spaces at Tesco to visit the newly built Eagles Meadow Shopping Mall which is opposite the store making parking in what was already a small carpark almost impossible on a saturday. At peak times you'll be queuing to get in and queing to get out.

The shop is open 24 hours a day and is very useful for picking up bits a pieces when you can't be bothered going to the local supermarket. As with many similar shops the convenience is reflected in the price of goods sold and they are not as cheap as similar goods found elsewhere. The shop is well organised and clean. There are fridge cabinets and a frozen food section, as well as shelves well placed within the shop. The shop is always very well stocked and has a good variety of items on sale. The staff are friendly and are happy to help. They serve you promptly and are happy to help you bag up and shopping as necessary. This is a great place for the convenient purchase.

The Black Cat petrol station is located just off the A55 close to Glan Conwy. It's a busy place,…read moreprobably more due too passing trade from the A470 (Conwy Valley road) than the more busy A55. It is a typical Shell petrol station complete with shop, cashpoint and carwash and the unmissable Shell yellow branding. The problem they have is that although they've got two tills they only ever seem to have one person working there. When it gets busy this creates queues in the shop which in turn leads to queues at the pumps. This wouldn't be as much of a problem if the Pay at Pump facility worked but it rarely does. I quite often find myself driving straight past and heading to Tesco as the forecourt is jam packed. It's a shame really as the prices usually mirror those at Tesco so it's quite competitive. The staff are always friendly and efficient - it's just unfortunate there are never enough of them.

Therefore there is usally a queue to get onto the forecourt and also to pay for your petrol. There is an adequate enough shop inside which sells all the normal items from a petrol station. The area is well known as a meeting point and is referred to as the 'Black Cat' Roundabout.
