8:00 is when dinner starts, which is late to me. Anyways, the place was pretty busy. Most customers were at the bar drinking. Be aware that service is on the slow side.
We were given crusty bread, which was better than expected. We ordered coppa and croquettes as appetizers. The coppa was great and the croquettes were creamy. Our first main was pig tripe and noses in Biscay sauce. The flavor was good, but I saw some tiny hairs on a few of the pieces. The portion was small and I was worried the second main was going to be small as well. Thankfully, the oxtail was more substantial. They were meaty and tender. Overall, I left happy. read more
