Jim Defreece is an excellent photographer. My daughter had her senior pictures taken by Jim and he was fabulous. He took her pictures down at Kayak Point to catch the sun setting in her photos. She changed into a couple of her favorite outfits. I ended up choosing the picture with her wearing my least favorite outfit of the two because he did such a great job taking that photo. My wife and I chose Artscape Photography to do our wedding photos, and we couldn't have been happier. When we met with Jim to choose the different shots we wanted to get, we knew we had gone to the right place. He had a huge checklist of all the different types of photos we wanted (bride with groom's family, bridesmaids, etc) When trying to orchestrate a wedding, who wants to think about all the shots the day of? He had us meet for engagement photos before the wedding, and had one of the pictures blown up with large white borders for people to sign at the wedding! We didn't even ask for it. We got our high resolution, high quality photos back very quickly, and were able to distribute them to our ever-eager families. We also chose Artscape Photography to do pictures of our newborn. He was wonderful handling our week-old baby, and although the baby was being (predictably) uncooperative, Jim handled it all with a good sense of humor, and even took turns with us trying to calm him down!
