They were given a deposit in excess of $5,000, but then our attorney decided not to go forward with them, prior to them getting started. I offered them monies for their trouble, but they decided to keep $1200 more of the money then they deserved. The following email was never responded to: "Steve, I am not happy with the fact you billed me for time spent prior to being hired. Your explanation still confuses me. I reached out to the AG office near you (White Plains) and asked what is considered acceptable, and/or, law. They told me that unless you were clear to me, or my counsel, prior to submitting and estimate and had a written agreement to do so, you are not supposed to bill me for time spent prior to being hired. You were retained 5/514, and according to your email of 6/27/14, had 6.4 hours billed prior to that. Granted, you credited 1.5 hours of the 6.5 billed. Therefore only charged me for 5 hours ($1,375). But, I, as the consumer, do not agree with being charged for time you spent to be hired. Please refund me $1,200, I will accept being charged 1.0 hour (.9 greater then the amount billed after being hired) and this will be acceptable. If you disagree, I will ask the AG to assist me. What kind of employee tells a class client that they are irritating her after being questioned why she was making disrespectful quips under her breath. So sorry for disturbing you by asking a few questions about the timing. The appropriate response is not what you've seen with other car manufacturers but what the reality is with BMW. Liz proceeded to hang up on me when I questioned what other auto manufacturers have to do with this claim. If this were my firm I would release her back in to the community to find a job in something she is more skilled in. Customer service is important and Liz falls well short of any an all measures.

I would like to say that I opened my account at this location about 6 months ago, and I am very pleased with my decision. One example of good customer service happened yesterday to me. I called up asking if I can get a money order, after the clerk looked up my account, she advised me that there will be a fee of $7 due to the type of account I have with them (I have the cheapest and basic account). Further more, the clerk advised me that the postal office charges only around $1 and change. So my conclusion is: they are here for there customers and making everyone happy.
