At Roseville I was a drain on resources. At Carmichael I became a human being, worthy of healthcare. Every single person I interacted with at Carmichael PMA was kind, attentive, and actively took an interest in improving my health. Everyone. The receptionist, the nurse practitioner, the doctor, the doctor's assistant, even people who weren't directly involved in my care acted like they were glad I was there. I was astonished. I have very low lung function. When Roseville diagnosed me, they wrote me off. When I walked in the door for an appointment the receptionist would look at me and sigh. When I had health issues I had to get a consensus on Facebook to diagnose me, then try to get someone at Roseville to do something about it, with varying degrees of success. The excellent care at Carmichael PMA was not an aberration. I got sick and was immediately sent to Riverside PMA, where a Carmichael PMA doctor saw me. I was treated very well. I can say nothing but good about these people.

I first saw Dr. Robinson in the hospital after being admitted with respiratory issues. After being…read moredischarged, I made a follow up appointment with him. He is thorough and easy to talk to. He explained everything and acknowledged the parts of my condition that he isn't very familiar with (it is a quite rare condition). He listened to my questions and concerns and didn't get irritated, as some physicians do, about the fact that I do a lot of my own research, too, to try and get as much information as possible. Dr. Robinson answered my questions, completed his notes right then and there, sent notes to another specialist regarding a procedure I also need, and gave me a note for my employer. I am very pleased with the level of care and concern I experienced with Dr. Robinson and my husband, who was with me during my appointment, felt the same.

Saw Dr Chipps today for a chronic condition I have going to the hospital for with no answers. I've…read moregone 5 times in 6 months. The office staff was very pleasant as usual, the weight time was excellent, the nurse was extremely pleasant and proffesional. Dr Chipps came in very soon. He listened to all my concerns as well as fears of going back to the hospital. He gave me his thoughts of what he thought it could be, ran an extremely large amount of testing . He was also very will to see me again if I had a flare up that day so he could see it. He took the time to write a note to the lab to notify them to draw my blood during an episode. I'm seeing him again on Monday to put a plan in place. His office as well as other providers are available this week should I need to be seen. I went from being in a deep state of concern to a place of hope and hopefully soon a resolution and diagnosis for my many symptoms I'm having . I'm so thankful he was able to see me a couple days after I left the hospital . Thank you for the wonderful care Dr. Chipps and staff.

They offered to referred out to a hospital, which they also did twice, and I heard nothing back. The techs responsible for the test keep calling in. This is a huge inconvenience. Furthermore, I'm having some issues and needed speak with my Sleep Specialist about a few important things and I've left the messages on his assistance voicemail three times with no return call. Very disappointing because I really do like my sleep doctor and I love my pulmonologist.

He will ruin Dr Wongs reputation. I recently brought my mother there for an appointment regarding pulmonary issues and a cat scan that showed Pulmonary Fibrosis. Rather than him explaining what this disease was, what treatments were available, what stage of lung issues she had, what further tests were available etc...he told her he was surprised she was even alive at her age with this diagnosis and there was NOTHING that could be done except take steroids with flare up. That was it. My mother and I were in shock. What a horrible thing to say to someone. Although my mother is older, she has had very good health, has no shortness of breath or breathing issues but a susceptibility to bronchitis. She has a very active lifestyle. I called immediately upon leaving and spoke to the poor gal at the front desk who not only answers the phone and checks in all patients ( while the other workers there appeared to be socializing with each other) I told her Dr Harrod was completely inappropriate. She apologized and said she would have the office manager call. I never hear back from anyone and that was a week ago. We are now referred to UCD Med Center Pulmonary Clinic. Now we will get the inforamtion we should have gotten at this office.

Staffed well, very thorough and professional. I love sleeping with a fan and they immediately made the accommodation. A little misleading by saying to prepare for a normal nighttime routine, because I was told I couldn't wear my AirPods or watch tv on my phone longer than 20-30min. It didn't feel like I could get comfortable how I normally do at home, but I understand. I was also asked to remove my nose ring and septum, which was not communicated on any of my phone calls. Just a thought to potentially include in preparation conversations since there is a list for prep and hygiene.

The unit that I was given on a Friday required a physique without hills and valleys. The ad showed…read morea man with the device across his chest. This unit had a bright light pointing towards my face that shone brightly at me if the device wasn't completely still and lying on a flat surface. So...I spent two nights trying to sleep with this light in my face so the unit would record an accurate sleep study. The item was to be returned on Monday, when they re-opened. I tried calling to ask what other options were available to get an accurate reading. The phone calls lead me to a voicemail that never returned my calls. I finally drove over to try to speak with someone. When I told the receptionist my issue, she held out her hand to receive the unit, she never responded to my issue, she only said that the office would contact me to let me know if I failed the sleep test. Do you think I had accurate readings? You guessed! Heck no! The report given to my doctor was erroneous and based on flawed data. I called to speak to a manager and all they wanted to talk about was the balance owed at first but promised to follow up. My follow up came a month later as a past due bill!! My advice is to go to a sleep study facility connected to a hospital.
