I was put on to this company by Geico. If they try to do the same to you, say "Hell No!!" I'm not even sure this is a real company. Might just be a phone bank somewhere where untrained people read from a script. They canceled my insurance because I was upgrading the place a bit. They refused to discuss the matter, just kept repeating the same thing over and over. Have now gotten in touch with a real Insurance Agent and that has made all the difference. Not a great insurance company. Poor customer service. Both times I interacted with them on the phone, the woman couldn't have been more condescending and rude. Their auto policies from QDE might be cheaper, but they don't cover you when you rent a car. read more

This insurance company sucks to the highest. Don't ever get insurance with this company. My bathroom flooded and when I called in the claim, it took them two weeks to get back to me. Then the first insurance agent didn't know what she was doing. Latoya was not understanding anything she was being told. Then she got fired. Then I was assigned another adjuster. Then she sends me a check for not even half of what it was going to cost to rebuild my bathroom and replace the wall and carpet in my grandkids room. I got the cheapest contractor I could find. His estimate was $11,000 which included materials. Then I was told we consider this matter closed. No, this matter isn't closed by far. Then tell me that I couldn't sue them. I took that as a dare. That's exactly what I'm doing, suing them. Then they disconnect their phone line and discontinued using their email address so they can't be contacted by email. I have been inconvenienced for a year and a half. I've had three adjusters, which none of them has settled my claim. Their office is in Carlsbad California and their corporate office is in San Diego which is in driving distance for me. I'm telling everyone that is thinking about getting homeowners insurance with Geico, don't, stop, timeout, this company should be put out of business. I don't know why Geico still continue to do business with them. If you hear the name Arrowhead run. Choose someone else for your homeowners insurance carrier like State Farm or All State. Just signed up for auto insurance with the guys -- and I will be moving to a new company ASAP. The customer service has been a mixed bag: some of them indifferent and snippy, some seemingly trying to actually help. And I would know, because I get to keep calling them again and again and again. Step to change your payment source: 1. Call them and wait on hold 2. Be told you need a fax number 3. Manage to find a fax machine, because who the hell only accepts faxes? What is this 1993? 4. Repeat step 1 5. Provide them with your fax number 6. They fax you the wrong form. The form seemingly sent through an old Xerox machine so many times, it's nearly illegible. 7. Repeat step 1 8. No, it's the right form. Because they only have the *one* form. No, no one in their office has the capacity to make a new form. Making documents using computers is really hard. Just cross out stuff and write in what you wish the form were for. 9. Fax back the hacked form. 10. Wait. They may call you. But also, they may not. You should check on if they received the form in a few business days. You may or may not receive some form of confirmation. 11. Repeat step 1 12. If success, wait to see your bank statement to be sure. If failure, begin from Step 4. read more

If i could give this company a negative rating i would. I agree with the poor service from the other reviews (should have stayed with Traveller's as they have been our policy holder for 5 years). My wife has been trying to deal with this company for a couple of weeks now and gets nothing but grief from Arrowhead. We signed up for new homeowners insurance via Geico and Arrowhead was the underwriter. About 2 weeks after we obtained the policy, we received a notice that we were being cancelled in 3 weeks. This was stated as due to us having a diving board on our pool, which i removed 5 years ago. Also due to some gutter repairs, which we did need and i completely replaced. We were told by the Arrowhead staff that we just had to submit a signed statement that we didn't ever plan on putting in a new diving board, no problem there, we don't even want one. With all the poor treatment my wife was receiving, we figured enough was enough and contacted Geico to tell them we didn't want to even hear Arrowhead anymore. Just received another letter today stating that we needed to remove the diving board base and that additionally there was debris alongside the house. This is stone from the improvements we did alongside the driveway and replacement border stone for our backyard areas. All in all, this company has very rude employees and it seemed like the were just looking for any excuse to drop us, like they weren't making enough money off us or something like that. The only thing they DID do well was send the remaining policy balance to us in a check very quickly. I am an employee of one of the largest real estate franchises in the country. If any agents or our lenders ever mention insurance i will tell them to steer clear of these guys. Carriers, watch who you treat poorly, it can come back to you in an unfavorable way. Never again... poor company, poor service... imagine if you had to file a claim with them, how would they respond? read more

Situation We had to file our first homeowners claim due to mold that had grown from a small but steady leak under a dishwasher. Once we discovered the mold we were forced to rip out everything contaminated by the mold - counters, cabinets, floor, drywall and some doors. Experience What should have been a simple reimbursement has turned into the stereotypical insurance nightmare. For instance: -We filed our claim 6 weeks ago. -We have to call and call and call to get anyone to call us back. -The check we received was a fraction - about 1/3 of what it would actually take to repair the damage. Since then we have been living like squatters in our own home - doing dishes in the bathroom for weeks on end. I hardly ever submit a Yelp note but based on this experience I wanted to help someone else avoid the miserable path that we've stumbled down. read more

Seriously during pandemic when income is in the toilet this company ARROWHEAD who I was given to by Geico which I don't understand why, decided to increase my Premium by 100.00 and the explanation I was given was BUILDING SUPPLY COSTS HAVE GONE UP. If you're thinking about dealing with this company think again... I was canceled after receiving word that I had a hole in my garage door. The newly purchased home was financed on a 203K loan.. for anyone who doesnt know thats a rennovation loan. Instead of performing the work on the garage doors later in the rennovation cycle we did it earlier. In 2 weeks time I had new garage doors and snapped a picture just like was requested and sent to PropertyPhotos@arrowheadgrp.com where the email bounced and bounced and bounced. I received a check in the mail that was a refund on the policy. No CALL No Email No NOTHING. This company sucks in a BAD BAD way! read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Staff is rude and condescending. My insurance was canceled due to no payment they say I have proof of payment from their website and my bank. They made no attempt to fix this if it wasn't for me calling them. I was lied to, Hung up on. NEVER AGAIN! They are crooks. I will be filing a complaint with the insurance commissioner. This is not ok. Not only was it canceled due to their error they expect me to pay for a month of insurance I Was not covered. Talk about bad service. their resolution is we will reinstate but you have to pay the back payment. and this new month. I will be looking for new insurance. I hope more people read the r eviews and do not have to suffer what I went thru. read more

BEWARE...BEWARE..BEWARE.... I suppose I should file this review under Geico also as they are the ones that farmed me out to his miserable excuse of an insurance company....but here's the deal. Financed the house through my credit union and wanted to change Insurance Companies a several years back. I picked Geico at the time....good rates....but they would only insure my Homeowners.....they passed me off to Arrowhead for the Earthquake policy. Yes....I know I don't HAVE to have it...but I do. Well.....paid off the mortgage this month and Credit Union informed me I would need to switch my insurance policies under my name now......sounds fair. Since I already have auto with USAA and Love Them.....I decided I would just switch everything under USAA to make life simple instead of having 3 insurance companies. Called Geico to cancel the Homeowners.....Piece of cake....took about 5 mins and everything was taken care of. Called Arrowhead and let the games begin!!!! Since I just paid my yearly Earthquake policy in April for $1091 (wasn't anticipating paying off the mortgage as I still had about 8 more years to go).....I new I would be getting a refund just as I will be with Geico. First off....Arrowhead refuses to give me a refund.....UNLESS I.........Send them a copy of my new Earthquake policy PROVING I have a policy.......AND.......fill out and sign a formal request for cancellation!!! WHAT?????? First Off..... I could understand if perhaps there was a lean on the home and my lender demanded I have earthquake policy....but truthfully.....that's not the case. Or....after talking to Arrowheads Supervisor....Dawn...ID# 141726.....after much arguing she stated if I pick a date of cancellation in the future; i.e., tomorrow or the next day etc., I wouldn't NEED to show proof....just fill out and sign the formal request. What??? Again....that confirms they don't need the policy......they are just holding my pre-paid yearly fee in hostage to suck as much interest out of it as they can before canceling. I called Geico to see if they could help. Supervisor Catlin #139194 stated not all their affiliated companies require that, however, since they are affiliated with Arrowhead there is NOTHING they can do except respect their company policy. I have filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau and Department of Insurance and even called the California Earthquake Authority.....we'll see how all that goes. However, Since logging into Yelp I see at least one other person whose auto claim took 3 years to pay.........WOW....Glad I didn't have a claim with these fools!! My advice....RUN and don't look back. Bunch of Crooks!!!! Horrible Company and No Customer Service. I'd rather deal with Telemarketing Company!!! read more
