I have never written a bad review in my life. I worked in the golf business for 25 years. The course is just OK. Short and certainly not worth what they charge but they do due to supply (lack of) and demand (very high). I can accept the fact that they charge what they can get. However, this may be the worst driving range I have ever experienced in all my years. I went there for the first time to hit balls, paid the overpriced charge of $22 for a large bucket and I had to hit off of "mats" that weren't golf mats at all. It was a green covering over hard, bumpy dirt. You could not hit balls off of these. I get more forgiveness from my living room carpet. I moved onto the grass but was quickly told by the Ranger that it was forbidden. When I told him you can't hit off those "mats", he just defended them and said I couldn't hit off the grass. I get golf courses alternate between hitting off mats and grass for all the right reasons. But the mats should be mats and not mini golf green coverings. Investing in real golf mats would provide them with a 10 fold return. They obviously don't care about providing a good golf experience for the money. All they care about is the sound of the register. I will never go back. Do yourself a favor and go to Stoneybrook or Spanish Wells. read more

This is an OK layout, however, it's WAY OVER PRICED for what it is! Not the great conditions. The guest fee at several high end Naples Florida private courses is comparable. Arrowhead is far from high end. read more

Nice course about 30 mins east of Naples. Five tee boxes that are generally in good shape, ranging from 4400 to 6800 yards. A few funky layouts with a short tee shot followed by a 90-degree turn with the requisite house on the corner. Very nice GPS in electric carts. Take notice of water around greens and landing areas! Greens were very receptive, moderately fast but a bit bumpy in places. Sand in traps was lovely compared to most Northern courses. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. read more

Not abiding by social distancing guidelines. I booked as a single and didn't want to ride with a complete stranger. The starter and pro told me the Coronavirus is fake news and if I didn't want to ride in a cart with someone I can walk or go home. This course should be shutdown by the cdc for not abiding by the guidelines of social distancing and not listening to the orders of the government. When I went into the pro shop to get a refund for the golf cart because I decided to walk the pro called me a p***y for believing the corona virus was real. He asked me how my toilet paper stockpile is doing and judged me for having a bottle of hand sanitizer on me. I got a refund and left No input on the course. read more

All together the course is nice but certainly pricey for what you get compared to other places. The cart guy was so rude starting upon arrival. Theres no coolers on the cart, instead they give you a shopping bag to keep your beers cold in the FL heat. But then no cart girl and no personal coolers allowed. The driving range isn't free. There's rocks in the bunkers. Just all details you'd expect not to experience for the price. read more

Beggars can't be choosy but I guess when paying $90.00 for a round of golf and a small basket of range balls one can say how they feel. With the East Coast of Florida shut down we traveled across the state to Naples to play golf this past Wednesday. Happy To be out of isolation 4 of us arrive to this course within a suburban area just off 75 a few miles. Self Parking, handling our own bags, separate carts, plastic screen so no interaction with golf shop personal all handle the social distancing issue. Range uses floaters golf balls with limited flight which is fine considering we haven't played in a month and need to hit some balls to get loose. Range grass was barren and it was difficult finding a good lie to practice off of Off right on time no delays on the course and they even had a cart girl yes wearing a mask and gloves all good points. Course itself was OK very tight, due to restrictions the housing puts on it, while fairways were decent and tee boxes fine as well. What really drags this down is the greens. They were green and healthy but they were so plush they were not puttable. I mean I found more speed in my carpet in my living room. Were told that kept that way cause of amount of play. UGH. If you can't put the ball the rest of the course is a complete waste of time. Could really be bumped up if the greens were maintained at a average speed but 4 on the Stimp meter doesn't get it done. Happy to be out of the house but can't pay this fee for below average conditions. read more

Slowest golf course Barely could play 9 in 2 hrs 30 minutes while guy in pro shop promised me an open course while paying 175$ for 1 rider and 2 players will never come here again. read more

Arrowhead is an interesting golf course with lots of water. You'd better be able to hit the ball straight. I was playing really well on the front nine and it shot a 40, so it's possible to score well. The back nine was a little tougher for me. Overall the course is in good shape. Southwest Florida is in desperate need of water so the fairways are a little dried up. But I don't really fault them that. Overall I really like the course and I would go back. read more

Played 18 on 5/6/23. Worse conditioned course that I've played since coming to Naples 15 years ago. Tee boxes were bare. Weeds on the fairway. $95 for this mess. $60 over priced. Will never go back again and recommend other do the same. read more

I was in southwest Florida on vacation and looking for a cheap, convenient place to golf. Check and check. Arrowhead golf course was exactly what I was looking for. Tee times were easy to book -- golfnow.com, via Arrowhead's website, or over the phone. Times started at 7:00 am. The round of golf with a cart was $30 and I paid an additional $25 for Wilson rental clubs. The rentals were not my favorite. They gave me a driver, 3W, 4H and 5H (hybrids were very bulky and hard to hit), 6-9 irons (also very heavy and bulky), PW and SW. The putter was probably the nicest club in the bag (or maybe I was just having a great putting day). The staff at the clubhouse was very helpful. I got a bucket of balls to hit for $6. There are no mats to hit off, just grass. The range is also a lake (so the balls are floaters). This was fun, as I've never hit into water on purpose before. I played in a nice group and we held pretty good pace. By hole 3 the Marshall caught up to us and said we're either going to need to pick up the pace or start skipping holes. Why? He said that in August the pace of play for a 4-some should be 3 - 3:30. Are you kidding? He was not. The other 3 in my party played best ball for 3-4 holes and we got up to speed. The course was in terrific condition and the fairways and greens were both very lush. I could tell that the grounds crew works hard to replace divots and repair greens. Water was incorporated into all 18 holes. Some had 100-125 yard approach shots onto a green over water which was very exciting. The greens were soft and true. Very nice to putt on. My complaint about the course is that there was only one water cooler set up on the entire course. Granted you came back to it on the back 9, having one drink available to patrons over 9 holes is a little shabby. Especially when it's mid 90's and humid out. This course is 3.5 stars but granted that this is their first review, I had a great time, and I got what I was looking for, I'll round up to a 4. I recommend it. read more

Course in great shape. Very target layout. It helps to play with someone who has played before to point out local knowledge. Greens in great shape and very true. A mix of members and pay people makes for a crowd. Nice smaller clubhouse with the basics you might have forgot. Attentive staff. The lack of a fifth star is for the driving range. Over 2/3 is for lessons. There weren't any when we were there. We had to wait and then alternate shots on the small range for the players. The dirt was all divoted upand not in the best shape. Went to the first hole not really warm. read more

A bargain of a golf course. For Naples this is a very decent place to spend a morning of afternoon on the range. Players were all friendly, most were like us...tourists scattered with a few retired locals. Course is in good shape and has enough terrain variations that you can challenge yourself . This is a public course so set your expectations for just that. The fees gone down after 12 noon and even less after 3:00 p.m. Fees include cart. They have a pub style restaurant with reasonably priced sandwiches, salads and such and beer specials, woo hoo! If you are in the area and golf I do recommend this course. read more

Because of maintenance our local course was closed for the week. My wife and I decided to play Arrowhead for the first time. The conditions were great and the pace of play was spot on. We played 9 and we finished under 2 hrs. The starter was great making sure everyone is on time and it was a real pleasure talking to him before we headed out. For me the starter has to make sure your enjoyment begins right before the first and he definitely did that!! After we finished, my wife said we have to play Arrowhead again and I totally agree with her. read more

I golfed at your course today on the last day before the corona shutdown. It was supposed to be a great day. We had a 7:37 tee time so the course was wide open. When we got to hole 8 a man came up behind us and told us that he was the club pro there and told us to sped up. We were under 2 hours for 9 holes. He told us to, "pick it is because we were backing the whole golf course up." This was bollocks. Defining yourself as a golf pro and then acting like this is just beyond wrong. How about being more kind.? We weren't slow. We were directly on pace. If this man was actually a golf pro at your club, too bad for you. If you are an employee of the course, be glad you can play at all and take care of the customers. This was beyond bad. He ruined my game and day. Shame on you if he is your pro. read more

My wife and I traveled to Naples for our honeymoon and we picked a couple courses that would normally be out of our budget back home. Arrowhead was on our list and we played the twilight rate to save a few bucks. The first person we spoke to, a woman in the pro shop, was not very friendly and honestly rather rude to my wife who didn't have a collared shirt. It wasn't a great first impression of the place, but we went out and had fun nonetheless. The starter was very friendly, however, and gave us a complimentary bucket of range balls as we were chatting on the practice green. As for the range, this is the first place I've been to where the range is a pond. Pretty cool. Funny side note - on one of the holes during our round, I played an aqua range ball for fun and naturally ended up in the water. I safely hit out since the ball floats, and might have even saved par. Thank you, aqua range! We were easily able to squeeze in a round as the sun was setting, and it was wide open out there in the afternoon despite being the heart of the season. We enjoyed driving the cart on the paths through the on-course community, checking out the wildlife including what we believe was a sea otter (do sea otters come inland?), and feeling no pressure of groups behind us. The fairways were in great shape and the greens were large and fast. We'd definitely consider playing Arrowhead again someday. read more

Arrowhead succeeds where so many other courses in the condo lined golf course universe that is Florida fail in that rather than the usual tight design, the layout hear pinches the residential in only around the teeing areas and greens, and spreads it to widen the fairways and aiming areas so that the OB is rarely in play and never unfair. Our most recent trip was the first week of April, and despite it still being high season, play was paced nicely on a beautiful Saturday morning with nary a wait during our 4.25 hour round. Conditions were excellent in all areas: tees, fairways, bunkers and greens. read more

Real Bathrooms dispersed among the holes is a real plus for a lady golfer. The red tees placement I found pretty short at about 4700yards, so I played the Silver(Senoir)tees at about 5200yards length, which for an average drive distance of 180-190, plays better for a challenge. I suggest on holes 1 and 9 to play a colored ball, if possible, as the water based driving range edges these fairways. This way you can find your ball alot eaiser among all the white range balls along the edge or shore... should you be among the unfortunate with a drive that rolls off the fairway towards the water's edge. (Always use caution on water's edge as this IS ALLIGATOR country) The course is in Great shape and still has non peak season pricing. From bag drop... to check in... to practice range and putting green... the flow was well oiled. Tip: The turn occurs at the clubhouse where on Saturday the hamburger or hotdog offer includes a bag of chips or pretzels... not so on other days. Bev cart working on Saturday as well. read more

This is a good golf course. It is fairly tight but if you play the right tees, you will never see the water. The greens were not lightning fast but they were in good shape and consistent. I don't know what was happening in May but this place has strong Covid protocols. There aren't even rakes in the bunkers or ball washers right now. The people were nice. Hitting range balls into the pond is a TON of fun. And I recommend the Boston special, Italian Sausage sandwich at the end of the round. Also - we were a threesome who plays fast. So we waited a lot but still finished in 3:30. read more

Very nice employees, on time with our early tee time, so much so that we decided to play the same course the next day. The course was in good condition and the price was inexpensive. This is a good course to play if you are a amateur golfer or a seasoned pro, as they have tees ranging from championship to ladies tees. read more

Buyer beware, unless your tee time is at least 5 1/2 hours before sunset!!! This course is POORLY run! They put way too many people on it!! Not only did we tee off 20 minutes after our tee time, we then had to wait on EVERY shot! Not every tee, EVERY SHOT!!!! Close to 3 hours to play the front 9. Did we ever see a marshal or a ranger? No. We had a little over an hour to play the back 9. While standing on the 11th tee (waiting of course) 4 groups rode back to the club house because it was so backed up, they had enough. Then the marshal comes by saying we had 2 open holes ahead of us. No kidding! Only because 4 groups left the course!!! Spend your money elsewhere, trust me you'll have a better time!!!!
