I was very excited to find out if the city of hope cpould help me change my…read morelife.however i was told i had a bed on 8-25-14 when i left court it was to late for me to get there i offered to pay for my bed by credit card on this day when i got out of court, but would not be able to get there until the next day by 11 am I was told if i did not get there by 3 or a little after i would not be able to come there and get the help i had so much prayed to recieve this was even with paying for the bed before 3 pm . i told him my mom would not be safe driving at this time of day.so i had to loose my chance at recovery through this christain based treatment center. I use the word christian because the bible i read speakes of how god is lind god is patiaent and loving when i was told no if i did not get there i was devastated i really thought i had found a place who was all about a loving god and helping people oh and btw i was not court ordered i was making this life changing decission on my own but time was not on my side today or was the city of hope not on my side? when i informed this place i was worried about the safety of my mother driving back i am assuming they were not...I have to wonder what was it that was so inpariative that at the risk of my moms safety was not a factor just me getting there by 3 or close to 3pm were was the love of god with this place?

They have Holy Communion every Sunday. They have a nursery for babies and toddlers, and a children's church during the 10:30 service, for children. They have a strong Youth Group for middle school and high school aged kids. Lots of opportunity for outreach and service projects.
