Got the paella here. This place is in a pretty sizable gastropub/cafeteria area where there many restaurants/stalls next to each other. This is why you see a tray in the picture, it is a convenient way to try many different things in one sitting without having to walk too much. We had a 3 year old with us and the open space and casual non-restaurant atmosphere makes it especially kid friendly. Only the rice from the picture is from the Arroceria, the two tapas next to it are from an adjacent stall. This is probably the best paella we had in or time in Spain. We did not go to Valencia though but had it a bunch of times in Zaragoza, the Basque Country and near Barcelona. We ordered it a lot despite being outside of Valencia because our 3 year old absolutely loved it.
This was our first night in Zaragoza and in Spain, and we thought this was a great way to try a lot of different food very quickly in a kid friendly place. Highly recommended. The other nights we walked more around the Tubo.
You can enter this place from an escalator in the plaza the España or though a back entrance in the tubo (a specific area in the old town where there are a lot of restaurants). read more
