3 out of 5 is being very generous from a "OVERALL" standpoint. Let me explain why.
Back in 2000 I started my own company, I do website hosting, well in looking for a local guy to do the job, I found Arrival, their staff seemed knowledgeable, friendly, and promised the world to me, and in the end, a empty promise is all I received, days of outage, issues with speed, one day even lost IP's because of their error - lots a few thousand dollars of clients.
So there's the bad - that sour taste in my mouth, but fast forward to last year, more than 5 years after the fact, working for a company here in town as a side gig I found they were using Arrival, however this time Arrival had learned many lessons over the years, but still some mini-glitches now and again, nothing though a larger provider wouldn't have on occasion.
Staff was more understanding of getting me past 1st Tier support and up to the engineers and Tier 3 support, so for the past year of working with them, and other clients with Arrival around town, they have come a long way - but they have some still to go, as their sales dept. spins a good spin, they offer a product, but make no mention of the overhead/inner workings of their network - but this time around instead of just saying "That's how it is Mr. Brown" they have made it right, which almost earned them a 4th star.
Honestly though, if you are a IT based business who needs real bandwidth, ask questions on your sales rep, arrange to talk to a engineer before signing a contract. Learn from my mistakes in the past, and my dealings as of late. read more
