I'd driven past this cute little shop on Palace St when I was house hunting, saying to my friends "I hope we find a house around here - I'd love this to be my second home."
Sadly, we didn't get the house. I pushed Arome Living into the back of my head and forced myself not to mourn.
Months later, Arome Living popped back into my head and I jumped into my car and drove to Petersham. The time had come.
Whilst I'd rocked up for breakfast, I soon found out that Arome Living only did coffee and cakes, with the odd meat pie and sausage roll as well (I clearly hadn't checked the place out properly in my quick drive-by, I was happy enough just to sit on the quiet corner and have a coffee.
Usually not a big fan of Schibello beans, I was happily surprised with my Arome coffee. Strong and not too bitter, whilst not the perfect drop, it was pleasantly satisfying.
I wouldn't go out of my way to coffee at Arome Living, but if there was a house going nearby, I would work darn hard at the property application. read more
