I like the flavors, and it's great to have a Nepali restaurant here locally where we can grab some Momos. Value wise, we just prefer Seva. Everything on the Aromatic Nepal menu is a couple bucks more than Seva. I prefer some of Aromatic Nepal's dishes (e.g. Mango chicken & Lamb Vindaloo), but others we prefer Seva (e.g. Chicken Tikka Masala & Butter Chicken). At Seva when it's time to pack up the leftovers, they'll bring you some extra basmati rice to add to your container; here it was $3 extra to top off our rice. Just overall not as good a value. We'll come in when we want momos, but for Indian food we'll stick with Seva.

The food was wonderful and tasty. Food did take a bit and my main meal was missed when everyone else's food came. Once the staff fixed that it came out very quick.

Really great service. Great location, cute interior, massive menu, great prices and delicious food. The chai tea brought me back to life on a super chilly day. The chicken 65 is a must have! 20/10 recommend!

This was my first time visiting after finding out about this place from Facebook and following them for a couple months. I was blown away by the quality and taste of the food. This was my first time trying momo and I LOVED the jhol momo sauce! Everything was delicious and the perfect amount of spice. Also so many vegetarian options which I appreciate! The restaurant is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall but the ambiance in the is so nice, calm, and welcoming inside. The service was great with the employees being very kind and attentive. I will absolutely be returning!

Spread the word. You gotta try this place. Such courteous service and delicious food. I'll have to keep going back. If you like Indian/Nepali this place will not disappoint. Plus momos! The spices in each dish really hit the taste buds. The ambiance was delightfully casual but refined. Support local folks and eat well.

I can't stop thinking about the jhol momo! So divine. The owners are also a great family. They do the best eyebrows next door.

This restaurant is simple the best. My favorites are the chili momos and the Sharma. The staff are friendly and considerate.

Naan is warm, chewy and has some crunchy bits where it bubbles up into a thinner area. STJ residents and visitors - please start and continue to patronize this Indian cafe! The restaurant itself was clean, and our server was attentive and friendly. A couple of people in our group appeared pretty satisfied with their meals, but as someone who loves genuine spice and great Indian cuisine, my dish really missed the mark. The Food Breakdown: Chili Chicken: I was expecting an authentic, fiery Indian chili chicken. Instead, while there was a decent amount of chicken, it was mostly loaded with peppers and onions and tasted much more like a Chinese-style sweet and sour chicken. As far as heat goes? It had about as much kick as a fake fireplace. Garlic Naan & Sides: The garlic naan was actually the best part of my meal--fresh and full of flavor! Unfortunately, naan doesn't pair great with sweet and sour sauce. To make matters worse, unlike other entrees on the menu that came with rice, mine came out completely on its own ("in its birthday suit"). The Price & Verdict: For the quality and execution of what I received, it felt pretty overpriced. The naan was around $6 and the entree was a shade over $20. While others at the table had better luck, if you're looking for deep Indian flavor profiles or real heat, you might be disappointed.

The decor is relaxed with bronze and brown and always clean. Take a moment to look up at the ceiling and admire the decor. Our favorite dishes include the Butter Chicken, Lamb Curry, Vegetable Pakoras, and Saag Paneer. I appreciated being able to "dial in" our level of heat for the entrees to make each custom to our tastes. Service was outstanding from our initial greeting to the filling of our waters. We have eaten in, taken out, but have not tried the family dinners or the buffets, which we'll have to do on our next trip to KC. One caution - They are closed on Tuesdays. Overall, a great stop if you have a layover in KC or are near the airport.

There weren't many people there, and since they're a newer business, I wanted to leave a review because they deserve to be on people's radar. The restaurant has a traditional Indian feel--warm wood finishes, darker tones, and a classic, authentic atmosphere. It doesn't have the trendy, modern look that a lot of new restaurants go for, and honestly, it fits the cuisine well. I ordered the garlic naan, vegetable samosas with mint chutney, and the chicken tikka masala. The garlic naan was fantastic--soft, perfectly grilled, and packed with garlic flavor. The vegetable samosas were crispy and flavorful. The mint chutney wasn't quite what I'm used to. I typically prefer a thinner, creamier chutney, while this one had a thicker consistency that reminded me more of a salsa. Still flavorful, just a personal preference. The real star of the meal was the tikka masala sauce. It was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I found myself wanting more of the sauce with every bite. My only suggestion would be slightly more tender chicken, and I felt like the rice could have been a little fresher. I'm big on texture and freshness, so those are things I tend to notice. Overall, the flavors were excellent, and I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu. If you're craving Indian food, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try and supporting a local business that's just getting started.
