Earlier this week, we came home in the evening to a flooded garage; a hissing, spraying, and…read moreleaking pressure tank; and a short-cycling well pump. I started calling every well service in the area and Cactus Water Well Services was the most helpful--immediately telling us to go to the breaker box, cut power to the well setup, and look for anyone that could take care of us ASAP. They set up an appointment for us in a week (because they were slammed with the freezing weather we are having) to upgrade our setup and told us to call them if we weren't successful getting another company to fix us up in the meantime. We had another company out at 6:30 the next morning. They promptly took one look at our busted 85-gallon pressure tank and left, saying, "Good luck getting THAT fixed." None of the other calls would even come out. This freezing weather is busting pipes left and right. At that point, I called the guys at Cactus back and they came out that night. I know they didn't have to; it was below freezing, in the dark, and these men have families. But they fixed us up, replaced our pressure tank with a better quality tank than the last one, and even went above and beyond by attaching my heat tape to the well head.

Picked up the car and wow, best part of the car is now the headliner. Looked spanking brand new so long as you don't look at the way my son keeps the rest of the car. He lowered the price several time and came in this week and said $1000. We agreed to let him do the job. He texted the night before stating $1000 or $200 a load. I told him that seems sketchy it's $1000 or no deal. He said as long as nothing has been added it's $1000 flat. He just needed to make sure to be safe on his end. Well today comes and he gets here and says he can't do it for under $2000. Beware of being quoted a price because the final bill may change. Keep in mind this brush pile is a year old weathered and worn down. Nothing was added and the pics he was given literally nothing has changed. Just beware of what you are quoted and the wording or you're going to potentially have a much higher bill in the end.
