The main dish was served on a plate and was a huge disappointment. Looked like pre-prepared lumps of meat cooked on water. Grilled yes, but most probably during the day to be able to meet the amount of people to be served.. The waiter was smiling from ear to ear as his restaurant was filling up. Asked him if he had some sauce to go with the meat. He smiled and said: No way the cook will be able to prepare something. Honest, yes, but added to the disappointment. The food smelled fantastic when I walked in, I just wish I hadn't eaten in Rome. I had a great salad and garlic bread. And they have raki, which is like ouzo without the anise. It was the smoothest raki I've ever had, including in Crete. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Most importantly, I stayed upstairs! They have a few hotel rooms on the 1st floor (perhaps more). The room was spacious and quiet. And it's 10 minutes to the airport. Perfect!
