We booked them for a ride to the charlotte airport for a trip. They picked us up in a 14 year old vehicle with a cracked windshield. The car sputtered and skipped the whole way. On our return they picked us up in a nice van which overheated with 1 1/2 hours left to get us home to Pinehurst. We were forced to take an expensive Uber to get home. After an 8 hour flight and a 6 hour time difference we were exhausted and just wanted to get home. read more

A ride ? Lol how about no ride. Called and was told " all of our drivers are at the airport" It was midnight !! I how many planes are landing in this two bit town? First off don't bother coming here. There is nothing here and you won't have to walk three miles back to your hotel. read more

ARide is by far the best transportation company I've ever worked with. We had a large group golfing all around the Pinehurst area and they were on time everytime and were incredibly flexible with pickups too. Lucky enough to have met Jimmy Hinesly the owner of ARide last year when visiting Pinehurst with 7 friends for an excellent 4 days of golf in the Pinehurst Village. We utilized ARide for transportation to and from the Raleigh airport. We also had ARide bring us to and from all the various courses we played. Jimmy and his staff are courteous and attentive to making sure we enjoyed our rides and were taken care of. Jimmy always has a funny story and was very accommodating when we needed to stop for sundries. Give them a chance and you will see why they are the ARide of Pinehurst. Thank you Jimmy and team!! Amazing last minute service. Had to change a ride last minute and they were very accommodating. The lady they sent us at Holly Inn this morning at 4:45 am was prompt, courteous, and reassuring. She got us to the airport in plenty of time. I will use ARide again whenever I can! read more

Terrible service when they can't even give a eta on how long you need to wait if all drivers are busy to help alleviate the stress of waiting. Need to hire more drivers and improve service cause never once since I started using did they ask for a name or description to let the driver know who they are picking up. read more

We had a great experience with My RDU Airport Shuttle. I found this company on Yelp as a good…read morealternative to Lyft, Uber, and parking at Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU). For this particular trip, My RDU Airport Shuttle made more sense than parking at the airport after doing the cost calculations. It cost $72 roundtrip, before tip, for My RDU Airport Shuttle to transport my wife and me from our home in Chapel Hill to RDU and back. It was a $33 *flat* fee plus $3 RDU Airport Authority fee each way. I tipped our drivers. I tipped the first driver with credit card. He had a Square card reader attachment for his phone. I tipped the second driver with cash. In comparison, at the time, rides with Lyft (Standard) and Uber (UberX) would have cost about $26 and $38, respectively, to get from Chapel Hill to RDU (one-way) using the set pickup time option. Note Lyft and Uber prices vary. Those just happened to be the prices I pulled at the time. My RDU Airport Shuttle isn't necessarily cheaper than using a ridesharing service, but ridesharing services aren't strictly in the business of transportation to and from RDU. I think there's some value in that with My RDU Airport Shuttle. For each of my rides with My RDU Airport Shuttle, I received detailed reservation confirmation emails and attached PDFs. They included clear instructions with what to expect both when departing RDU and when arriving at RDU. For our outbound flight, our driver, Ike, showed up to our home about 20 minutes early. He called and texted me to let me know he was outside. He told us to take our time. Ike wore a blazer over a Carolina T-shirt and picked us up in his Lincoln Town Car. It was nicer than your Standard Lyft or UberX. For our inbound flight, I received a text from our driver, Dexter, as soon as I turned on my phone after landing at RDU. He welcomed me to Raleigh/Durham and let me know that he had been tracking our flight. Per the company's instructions, we met Dexter at the designated pickup location: RDU "Prearranged Services" Zone 8 (purple sign). Zone 8 is for all airlines except Southwest. The Southwest pickup location is Zone 1. Dexter proudly wore his Raiders gear and picked us up in his minivan. Ike's car was unmarked. He also works for himself, Ike Transportation. Dexter's van was marked with "My RDU Airport Shuttle," phone number and web address. Both Ike and Dexter were professional, pleasant, and excellent drivers who provided smooth, safe, and comfortable rides. Thank you, Ike and Dexter. I would gladly use My RDU Airport Shuttle again. They have my recommendation.

When I showed up (10 min. early) I was told I was put in a hold group and would have to reschedule because I had not confirmed my appointment. I did not get a text to confirm. The impersonal clerk said I should have called them. How would I have known to do that! I should have asked why she didn't call me! She said she could give me another appointment a month away. There was another clerk there who was doing nothing. How about giving her the job to call people who haven't (can't) confirmed. I don't know if this is Dr. Cox's policy or if she even knows what her office staff is doing, but I hope this complaint reaches her. They could have called me but instead Dr. Cox lost a patient. I'll find a practice where the staff treats me better.

I scheduled an appointment for an eye exam a month ago, as this was the soonest available…read moreappointment. I show up for my appointment a few minutes early and the receptionist ask what my appointment "was". I told her it's at 1:40. She then told me because I did not confirm my appointment that I lost it and was moved to overflow (which meant I'd have to be worked into their schedule). Because I had other priorities after my appointment I told her I'd have to call and reschedule it. I scheduled my entire day around this appointment and had been waiting for a month to have it. The office did send a confirmation text the week prior, but also sent a reminder text everyday that I had an appointment today (to include one this morning). If I had missed this appointment I would have been charged a fee, but they can cancel without notice with no consequences. There is nothing in any of their texts that says they will cancel my appointment, but to the contrary all say that my appointment is good to go and insurance is confirmed. I along with my family have been going to this office since we moved to the area 5 years ago and have never experienced anything like this. It's frustrating and unacceptable in my opinion. Our family all wear glasses and have spent literal thousands in this office. We do not plan to go back at this point, which is unfortunate because I really like the eye doctors I have seen there, but the receptionist is another story.

This is our first time that we contracted with a ride transportation they are reliable dependable, and their prices are right. Jo made a reservations for us and J was our driver from Pinehurst to Raleigh Durham airport. The service was nothing but exceptional. Compared to other services in the area. The price is the Lowest compared to other services, we checked into for this area. You can pay cash or credit card. Get your email receipt or paper. A Ride provided a very prompt service based upon a courteous approach. I arrived at the train station in Southern Pines and needed a ride to the rental car location. There is no Uber or Lyft in the area and no cab service that I could see. The attendant at the train station recommended A Ride and I could not have been happier. I was very pleased with their service. On my way out of town, again by train, I called ahead to A Ride and they met me at the rental car location to drive me to the train station.
