A bit worn interior adds to its charm. Now with live music the bar attracts people from other parts of Torrevieja. A friend told me yesterday he's going to perform here with his band soon, can't wait to see that. Definitely visit if you live close. "Beer! Once again I found myself in a situation when my heart told me "stay here for at least two hours and twenty five minutes" but my duties called to me. Loud. And I left :( What I managed to notice in 2 minutes: 1) The name. Looks really weird. 2) The business is seafront, with outdoors seating, views to the beach and the "mountain of Altea". 3) There was going to be live music! I only heard the musicians tuning up and the drummer drumming for a minute. Enough. I'm sure the rest of the evening was awesome. 4) A lovely bunch of people drinking beer. I don't remember when I was disappointed so much having to leave at that moment. What I found afterwards. I checked them on the internet and all they have is the Facebook page created for them by Facebook (!) and the Google Maps listing created for them by Google (!). The owners didn't even bother to claim those pages. This is a very intriguing place :))) Now they have a Yelp listing too. The name is in Dutch and it means "The Harbour Cafe". I believe the music is only on Wednesdays. All in all - I need, must and will come back no matter what. On a Wednesday.

The venue has three floors with a DJ and the main bar on the first, a pool table and bathrooms on the second, and a large dance floor, bar, and stage on the third floor. During the week they throw themed parties and hold events, such as a weekly beer pong tournament. While you probably did not go to Spain to play beer pong, the tournament is incredibly popular and a great chance to meet locals and other studying abroad students from around the world. While the place is not always the cleanest (especially on weekend nights) the prices are extremely reasonable. The staff is a mix of locals and foreigners who are very friendly and make you feel like a regular. It's a great spot, check it out!
