Gerdone's tow guy saw my instruments in the car and decided to store my car indoors, rather than outside in the lot, to keep my instruments safe. I called them first thing Monday morning and the owner answered. I asked what I needed to do to pick up my car and he told me what paperwork I needed, how much it would cost to release, etc. They texted me the address where I could go to pick up the car once I had the paperwork and the money ready. When I got to the Ivyland location, the owner was there waiting for me. Really nice guy. He told me he had noticed my instruments in the car and that's why he stored it indoors. I really appreciated that. The car was fine, towed on a flatbed, absolutely no damage. The price and the treatment were very reasonable compared to what could happen if my car got towed in the city. In my opinion, the bad reviews are probably people who were just upset that their car got towed and took it out on Gerdone's. If you find yourself in this situation, do yourself a favor: don't make the situation more difficult than it already is. Stay calm, call the number during normal business hours, speak respectfully, and ask exactly what it is you need to do to get your car released before you go there. Make sure you have the right paperwork and cash or Venmo ready. In my experience, I treated Gerdone's with respect and in return they treated me with respect. I'm writing this review about an hour after I got my car. Thank you, Mr. Gerdone.
