They cost taxpayer millions a year providing services, equipment, transportation, and aides for perfectly healthy people! People that can walk, cook, bathe, drive, and clean should NEVER be allowed to have taxpayer funded aides or medical equipment they don't need and never use! ACTUAL disabled people are going WITHOUT because of their incompetence! Disability fakers and career welfare cheats get aides 5 days a week while those who REALLY need an aide to stay alive can't get one! They get free meals delivered EVERY day, yet either just give them away, or throw them out because they're eating STEAK while the people that PAY for it have to eat hotdogs! They're merely siphoning off millions in taxpayer dollars to perpetuate welfare fraud! read more

my mother was in there multiple times in the last 2 years and me or my wife was there pretty much…read moreeveryday. All the nurses and aids had good attitudes. and took great care of her. anytime I went to the nurses for anything they gave me prompt service. And Cheryl is one of the nicest best people I have ever met.There is nothing in this for me as my mom passed. But I wanted to give a huge thank you and I would highly recommend Astoria over any other around here
