History

Established in 1986.

Architectural Precision Models started in San Diego CA, downtown in historic redevelopment area. We built models of many different high rise structures that you see in the skyline today plus a broad range of land development models . I built art design models for Chris Lee & Robert Irwin. Survived the S&L crisis. Moved business to San Francisco Bay Area in 1997 and began building models for CA, CO, UT,TX, NH NY, HI, Santa Domingo & Mexico. Built a new model making studio on my Kona Coffee Farm in Captain Cook, HI in 2003 & moved the business there in 2006 full time. I am one of the most experienced model makers on the planet combining the new technology of laser & 3D printing with the master model making techniques I still retain from 40 years ago.
