We went to buy track suits today at Academy for my 85 year old father in a wheelchair…read more Limited inventory and a mixed bag of customer service. My father asked a 60+ year old woman with no makeup and a grown out diver flat top for help She turned her back on him an told me that she was too busy, her male counterpart was at lunch and she was behind in orders because of him. My father was embarrassed and belittled. There is a word for women who behave like that but it isn't used in mixed company outside of a Veterinarians office. As best of all, this woman is a store manager! I hope Grant actually sees this. We took the one suit we had picked out and went to Dillards. From when I was a little boy, Dillards and MM Cohn's were the department stores. Customer service and selection were always top drawer My dress suits came from Bauman's and everything else from those two establishments. After flying 1,200 miles I home I understand that selection will not be what it is in LA, NY or wherever my job sends me around the world. What I will not accept is poor , rude customer service. In this economy, ALIAH (spelling?) should be reminded by her manager that a job is a blessing and a customer with cash In hand is a luxury. So off we went to Dillards where I dropped a hefty sum buying him anything he needed or wanted. He deserves respect as a human being and to be responded to when addressed. It's just good cotillion quality manners. And I happen to love making him happy. So here we are at Dillards and guess what? They didn't have two items in his size. Without asking they sourced it from The Little Rock store and we are on our way to pick them up now. I keep a list of needs and wants and places to go to get them. Academy is no longer on that list. Go to Dillards. The prices are pretty competitive and they will treat you like a welcome customer for years. I know because I am one.

2nd bad experience with Academy Sports…read more First experience they charged me 3 times for one item. Eventually was refunded. Now I have had my order cancel for the second time! Warning do not shop online! They are a joke! Lost hrs of my time and $100s of dollars. Rogers Sporting goods is a way better option!

Military Familes be careful! Bait and switch sales tactics there! We had an agreed upon price…read moreincluding documentation fee and tax, transferred money to write check on side by side, right at the end the sales man Terry tells me the final price over $1000 more than we agreed, he admitted it, said it was his error then expected us to pay it. We walked out. Who knows how many times this tactic worked on people , very disappointing. Won't ever go back.

!!!BUYER BEWARE!!! DON'T PURCHASE FROM (BRADFORD MARINE)…read more To whom it may concern, From my experience, Bradford Marine at 8020 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, AR is the only place that services Bad Boy products in central Arkansas. I feel it is my Civil Duty to let Arkansans know exactly what "services" you'll be getting at Bradford Marine before you make a purchase with your hard earned money. Bad Boy's motto is "Gets you closer to the game". Well I can honestly say with the help of Bradford Marine's store Manager, Tony and their parts & labor manager, Grant, Bad Boy's motto along with Bradford Marine's name will be the only thing you will be able to drag through the mud. I have worked in the land surveying business for over a decade using multiple sizes and types of ATVs/Side by Sides. In November of 2014 my wife and I purchased a 2015 Bad Boy 720cc Ambush from the BRASS PRO SHOP on interstate I30 in Little Rock. Like any husband and father, I was excited about purchasing a buggy to share with my family. In January, I was on an open trail when I hit a small rut causing the strut casing to break. Searching for ATV repair shops, I found that Bradford Marine in North Little Rock is the ONLY place in central Arkansas to send our buggy to repair, because it's the ONLY place that is able to order Bad Boy parts. With that type of Monopoly/Power held down from Bradford Marine. I guess in Grant's (parts manager) eyes he can talk to my wife and I anyway he wanted to. Words got crossed. And as a result between Grant and my wife argument. Well... It took nearly Two months for them to replace, and to have the buggy operational again. I counted four bolts to replace the strut casing. Just saying... During the Ice Storm around February 23, 2015, I was trying to get around a mud/ice puddle when the buggy slid into the center of the puddle, causing it to sink nearly three feet causing us to bail out. We were pulled out by chain with a four wheel drive Jeep. IT WAS SUBMERGED! no question and no exceptions! Needless to say, we regretfully had to take it back to Bradford Marine and informed State Farm the event of what happened. Here it is at the end of JUNE, before State Farm have had enough of Grant and Tony as well. Grant ordered a new solenoid and starter which only proved the motor was still locked up. I can understand this being standard procedure. But that wasn't good enough for Grant (parts manager) who wanted to order more parts!?!?! I brought this up to State Farms attention in hopes to find out what is going on? Now, by the balance of what was ordered and labor verse State Farms payout to our loan. I'm guessing his extended parts and labor is $2,065.76. Now, this is my difference for paying the loan off. I understand driving off the lot you lose value. However, any honor systems of Bradford Marine, BAD BOY, or even Bass Pro letting two people drag their name down with Tony and Grant. So let it be !!!BUYER BEWARE!!! In conclusion, My family now budgets for the remainder balance of Grant's and Tony's digression of ordering parts, and what ever labor they see fit to charge. To a Buggy that is not operational and no longer in our possession. The brand new 2015 BAD BOY 720cc "Ambush" is now a $2,065.76 our family's mistake. I can hope, with your time of reading this information. You can protect your family and learn from our mistake. Again, Thank you for your time. and Thank You... State Farm to know when to say enough is enough.
