We stayed at Arcadia Farms a couple of weeks ago kind of by accident as we were supposed to stay at another farm house that is located close by. We were offered to stay at Arcadia instead since the other location was primarily one group staying there. We decided to do so and we were SO happy that we did! Marie welcomed us and let us into her home like we were family. She showed us around the historic manor and shared some of the history with us. Later in the evening she took us around to feed all of the horses and since it was spring we were able to see all of the babies as well. She let us pet and feed them all as well. Marie has over 600 acres of land as gave us use of one of her golf carts to go and explore it. This is a horse ranch but she also has donkeys, goats, cows, dogs, and cats (Sofie is a little lover) as well. Jerry had fresh baked goods for us every morning as well as some fruit, coffee and juices. We had so much fun and it was so relaxing! We cannot wait to go back!!! Thank you Marie!!! read more
