I pulled up with a full size sofa, and they carefully removed it. Super quick and easy!

My family has been using using SECOR off and on for 4 years. We have always had a very pleasant…read moreexperience. The workers are always so nice and caring.....UNTIL TODAY. My wife went there this afternoon and was treated very rudely. They were extremely picky and judgemental about us. Just because we are underemployed does not mean that we do not need to feed our animals. What are we supposed to do ? Get rid of them. My wife filed out the financial form the best that she could, just like she has for 4 years. However, this particular worker felt an extra $300 in the budget disqualified us. However, if they would have listened they would have found out that $300 belongs to our foster daughter and cannot be used for our bills. I have been a member of Southeast Christian Church since 2005. But, I think it's time to look for another church. If this is how their 'ministry' treats people, then I don't wish to be a part of this.

I believe this is a very wonderful program its just not managed well. For months I have been giving…read morefinancial donations to this program. Recently I had a dealing with this charity and came to find out that they don't do a proper screening or process to "weed out abuse" by their recipients. When I found out there were parents abusing this program as they wasted the food given, they opted not to work so they would qualify to receive not only food but financial assistance with living costs and that these parents have a very expensive, over $450 a month, addiction to vodka. When I brought this information to Secore's attention, their employee's were extremely rude and screamed out at me that they didn't care about the facts they only cared about the children. Secore also provides psychological counseling but apparently you have to be willing to seek it. What I would have liked to see is for Secore to make a condition that the only way they would continue helping families with addictions is if they agreed to seek counseling. If the parents are really in need they would agree to anything to help their children. Unfortunately, Secore will continue giving these parents the means to purchase over $450 a month in vodka by providing them with means to support their family. If these parents were forced to feed their own children, it could save the parents life and give these children a much healthier home environment. If this happened with this one family, how many more parents are out there with addictions this charity supports? I cannot continue providing financial support to a charity that supports people who are undeserving of the benefits they receive. Charities are a privilege parents should receive only if they are willing to help themselves. I personally watched the family discussed here discard hundreds of dollars of food in only a 3 month period. They had far more than they consumed. It was extremely sickening to know I paid for some of that food.

The decor, the clothes, the boots were so well curated and of such high quality that it redefined my view of country wear and decor. I would describe it as more of a "Cowboy Chic" or "Colorado Chic" or a "Western Wow" style. At the top of the stairs you are greeted by an amazing assortment of boots, in many styles. The owner, Alison, is an expert, and was delightful sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm. I was impressed by the depth of her knowledge of boots, hides and turquoise, among other things. I enjoyed our conversation as I shopped. I am now the proud owner of a gorgeous, large cowhide, which makes an outstanding rug in my family room. The quality and beauty of the hide is indescribable, we will love it for years to come. Looks terrific with my leather sofa and warms my hardwood floors. It is the perfect rug. I actually thought it was too nice to use as a rug, but the owner shared so much about how to care and clean it, it gave me the confidence to try it. We love it. I recommend a visit to Tumbleweeds, the prices, the quality, and the style are unbeatable. The owner is charming. She mentioned that she is opening another location on Santa Fe, in the Arts District in downtown Denver, I will definitely be checking it out. I am a huge fan of Tumbleweeds. I like Western wear and decor with this much style and quality, which came as a surprise to me. Who knew western could look so good?! Go. See for yourself. You will be a fan of Tumbleweeds, too.
