We recently bought a car from ARC with the promise that we had 28days cover for anything that would go wrong. The following morning we woke up to 2 punctures which had to be repaired.
These were flat when we bought it, but were told, "The Kids are always letting the tyres down".
Next thing to go wrong, grinding on the front discs, requiring new front pads. Later that week the ABS stsrted activating. Caused by split receptor rings, a common problem on the older models.
We then notied excessive ol usage. 1ltr per 100miles, given thats all we had done until this point. Next thing to go wrong, Air Bag warning light. Two visits to an Auto Electrics Diagnostic dealer and it back on again.
ARCs reaction to this - nothing, and we are also waiting for the LOG Book some five weeks later which according to the DVLA has not been received from ARC. Would I rate them? Not really. We are now considering legal action. read more
