When it comes to trees especially that could fall on the house, I insist on going with someone licensed, bonded and insured. I know I posted a review before, with pictures, but I don't see it here, so I'm restarting a new review, since a lot of people have downed trees right now in their yards or on their houses with the storms. Jon Davis Tree Service was one of three estimates that I got, and we decided to go with them, and were quite happy. An acquaintance recommended them to me.

We used Reliable Tree Care after a HUGE tree ended up falling on the edge of our home, taking out…read moreour side shed, part of the roof of our house, AND an adjoining semi trailer full of valuable cargo parked in our side yard (it was a massive tree- really)! This damage was incurred as part of the terrible weather we had with Hurricane Irma and could have been so much worse without the expertise of Jaime and his crew. After calling several people and receiving many quotes in excess of $10,000 we began reaching out to friends who might have had experience with someone reputable who may be able to help within our budget. We were eventually referred to Jaime by a family friend who ensured us that Jaime was a stand up guy who knew his work and would be able to help. Sure enough, we called him that day and he was able to come out the very next day to have a look. After seeing the spectacle of damage and having been informed of our dilemma he agreed to help us for LESS THAN HALF of what all the other contractors were willing to do the work for! We were worried about the potential for further damage due to the tree's position against our home, shed, and trailer although Jamie allayed our fears with reassurance of his ability to get the job done without having that happen AND without the need of heavy equipment mucking up our yard even further! On the next day Jaime came out and successfully removed a MASSIVE portion of the tree that had fallen over the semi trailer without causing it to tilt over which seemed to be nearly impossible...and accomplished this WITHOUT a crane or other very heavy lift equipment! All in all, Jaime and his company are A+++ and top notch. Even in our crisis situation he did all he could to assure us he could handle the situation without further disaster and he delivered on those promises. As for the financial side of things he was more than understanding of our predicament and worked with us throughout the insurance claims process and did the work for LITERALLY half of what the other companies quoted us for (sometimes less). He also told me that he was paying it back forward for my Mom's prior military service as my Mom is an Army veteran and that means so much to me and my family! If you need someone who is honest, skilled and who cares, then Reliable Tree Care is the right choice!
