Aransas Pass is the jumping off point for Port Aransas and the rest of the Corpus Christi Bay.
There's more to do here than meets the eye- Aransas Pass is the home of a lot of places to go scope out some birds. There's long legged storks and egrets with long bills that stalk the shallow waters that surround Port A.
There's some cool public works of art- like the big anchor along the main street of this town. On the way to the Aransas Pass ferries is the casino boat that'll take you out to international waters to go place some bets legally.
I've never really spent much time here in Port A, as it's always just been a place to head out to better places right down the road (i.e. the beach), as the beaches here aren't that great for swimming, but they seem to be great for fishing.
