Came here for a family dinner, kind staff and good vibes. The food was good, but definitely not the best Italian that I've had. I got the seafood pasta dish and usually, I love seafood. The flavor wasn't really there, but it was okay. All of the other dishes were great and I generally don't like tiramisu, but I really liked the tiramisu here.

We talked to Rocket... asking about the restaurant. He steered us to eat here. Best food we've had in Waikiki! Ceasar salad, A Calamari (fresh & tender), A- Carbonaro pasta,A Risotto mushroom......A-... cooked at the table with huge aged cheese, what a treat. Each dish was excellence on display. Service was spot on polished, great team work, regular check ins.... just a great experience and delicious food. Waitress was Minami.... also was great. Thank you everybody for a great dinner. Ambiance is like going to Italy (close space, happy ppl and great food.

Dropped by for lunch and really enjoyed it! They offer a $28 lunch set with a choice of pasta or pizza. I went with the pasta with a Caesar salad. The salad was fresh and tasty, and the bolognese was served hot and flavorful. It was a touch on the salty side, so I felt a little thirsty afterward, but still very satisfying overall. They also make this lunch set as a Kamaaina special for $21, which is a great deal for lunch in Waikiki. Thank you for the wonderful meal and friendly service!

One of the best Italian restaurant I've have been to. Food was great, uni pasty have this amazing tasty to it. I know it's not for everyone, but this pasta is very different I've tried. Staff , everyone was very friendly and pay very attentive to everyone in the restaurant. Very clean restaurant inside too. Parking is one of the hardest thing here , some street parking but hard to find. Or valet parking next door hotel , but it's very expensive.

I've walked past this place for years and always assumed it had to be a tourist trap. However, I recently went and am so glad, what a hidden, in obvious site, gem! Trattoria aesthetic and vibes. Busy, but also not so much that can't score a last minute reservation, which is sometimes difficult for a sit down in Waikiki. The service was friendly; server was courteous and our table side pasta preparer had personality which is always fun for a presentation. Ambiance is elevated casual and can be a bit loud as the tables are close together and it gets packed. The menu has a nice mix of Italian favorites. The arancini were delicious. We shared 2 pastas. The table side prepared Cacio e Pepe, loved the presentation. We also ordered the Carbonara, a bit overly salty but expected and delicious nonetheless. The pastas were both cooked perfectly. We also ordered 3 glasses of wine. All nice, I loved they had Barolo by the glass! While this is common in Oahu (and most tropical locals to be honest) I was a little shocked an Italian place would serve overly chilled (think glass sweating level as if you had a glass of ice water) red wine. Luckily it was only 1 of the 3 (and not mine, lol. My companion did not mind it so was a win). To stay true to my initial impression of tourist trap, they do have a photographer come around and take your photos. A nice souvenir to take home! Though cheesy I actually liked this and think it's wonderful for tourists to have a little vacation memory. I will 100% be back and this is now added to my rotation when craving a delicious Italian pasta.

Came here for dinner tonight and it was delicious! We ordered the Caesar salad, carbonara, and spaghetti alle vongole. Our waitress Jaime was wonderful and super quick to serve! The Caesar salad was delicious with real anchovies and the clams in my spaghetti were cooked perfectly. Inside was semi-crowded as it seemed pretty popular at dinner time but overall a great vibe! Highly recommend.

Best pasta I've ever had. No joke. Never thought I'd say that in Waikīkī but it's true! Perfect temperature, taste, texture, flavor. I had the uni pasta and wife had carbonara. Both were epic! I will be trying to replicate the uni pasta at home until I can return. Also the scallop carpaccio was a banger!! Soooo good! Service was also perfect. Very nice staff.

Must make a reservation a few weeks in advanced for best seating times. We made ours a few days before and the best time we could get was 7:30. Most walk ups had to wait 30-2 hours. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We started with the arugula with prosciutto salad and the Arancini balls. They also serve focaccia bread before the appetizers came out. Next came the pastas, on our first bite we thought it tasted exactly like we would find in Italy. The carbonara was in some cases better than Rome. The Bolognese was delicious as well couldn't go wrong with either of those pastas.

Hands down, one of the best Italian meals I've ever had! The Spaghetti alla Carbonara was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced -- the sauce had that authentic, velvety texture with just the right amount of pancetta and pecorino. Every bite was pure comfort. I also tried the Rigatoni alla Bolognese, and it was absolutely incredible! Hearty, flavorful, and slow-cooked to perfection. The meat sauce clung beautifully to the rigatoni, and you could really taste the depth in every mouthful. Honestly, it was some of the best pasta I've ever had- both dishes were flawless. To top it off, the Aperol Spritz was refreshing and perfectly mixed, the ideal complement to the meal. The customer service was outstanding warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel special. If you're a pasta lover, this place is a must-visit. Can't wait to go back!

Slightly hidden amongst the surrounding of Kaka'ako is La Cucina Ristorante Itlaiano for many though I knew of this place for quite some time since I do have frequent Imperial Plaza for many other biz found here. The restaurant is located on the grounds floor inside the lobby area and can be easily missed for it's simplicity but those who knows it's a place to visit. To do so you must make reservations and it's online by e-mail only and it was a process for me as it's their primary way of communication along with presetting your order as well especially for braised items that requires 48hrs in advance notice. We didn't select those items but have decided to preorder our starters which is their Insalata di Casa which is a lovely simple salad with Italian vinaigrette and some fresh tomatoes and Bruchetta which is also another simple item but until you've tried them it was very crafted and delicious that was wonderful start to our meal. To share we decided on the Rigatoni Bolognese though they were out of Rigatoni and offered us Pappardelle instead which I was fine and Ravioli Zucca and from what I understand the Pappardelle is house made and it was just the perfect consistency and the bolognese was a delicate sauce that went perfectly together but the Ravioli Zucca was just as amazing. Stuffed with Butternut Squash and my favorite vodka sauce is paired with Italian sausage and garnished with sliced almonds and Italian parsley it was such an elegant bite. I do appreciated the time it takes to prepare the reservations though must admit it was quite different to make it all work and see that it's all done in ways that you have very little wait for your table and your food as well and just loved how it's all crafted to make it a balance of harmony for us all. The fungi pizza used the same bread as the panini and it was good also with clumps of melted cheese, sausage, and mushrooms. I would like to try their Neapolitan pizza next time but this was a filling slice. I can see why people have been raving about this place to get good Italian food and I'll be back, this time in person!

Of note, the pasta in the five course tasting is half the size of the regular order. Even at half the size, I felt the serving portion was good. I felt satisfied but not full. The next dish was the main course so filet mignon and monchong. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly but I personally didn't like the sweet sour balsamic vinegar taste that was drizzled over. I would have preferred it to be more savory. The monchong was okay but a little overcooked for my liking. The portion size of the main course was good. Lastly was our desert but to our surprise, they brought out a nicely written happy birthday platter with half a lava flow desert and a small scoop of ice cream. My son really enjoyed it. The creme caramel was also good and reminded me of flan. Service: the waitress did her job but I personally felt we had better service entering the restaurant and being seated. She had no smile, did not offer any recommendations, and no small talk which is fine but noticeable. Our bill came out to $463.87 tip not included. Though we really enjoyed the salmon and abolone I'm not sure it's worth the price and the extra three bites. Next time I would just stick with the pasta. If we had just ordered the full order of pasta our bill would've been $195.

My father and brother are both military veterans and enjoyed the fact that this venue was situated at a golf course they patronized before. We all ordered drinks--I ordered a bottle of wine, taking advantage of the Half-off Wine Wednesdays; some tried the alcohol specials and others simply elected to have soda. I ordered a few appetizers for the table and those went quickly: calamari, bruschetta, and artichoke dip. Yum! Main entrees followed and everyone seemed to enjoy their selections. We ordered dessert and were disappointed that they ran out of creme brulee...my father ordered the cheesecake and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only reason for not giving five stars has to do with the outdoor seating. I wish the chairs were more comfortable, as we sat there for awhile, waiting for our server to take our large group order along with waiting for food to come out. There is adequate parking and the restrooms are clean and accessible. An elevator is located in the lobby for those who are not able to easily climb the flight of stairs to the venue. I wish the signage was better, as my 74 year old father took the outside steps, as he thought that was the entrance, per signage downstairs.

Like she was welcoming family and friends to dine here. We got a seat on the outdoor lanai, honestly, such beautiful sunset views! Once seated, our server Erin really sealed the deal on this location. She truly reminded me of the best server I ever knew (my mom, a lifelong waitress, now enjoying retirement). Erin knew this was our first time here, and she made it her mission to make sure it was not our last. She was friendly, real down-to-earth, and efficient. She offered suggestions, refilled drinks and brought bread, all without us even asking. I will definitely return, and if Im able to, request Erin as our server. This was my hubby and mine first date night in years... so mahalo for the memorable meal, Erin!
