In Lisbon airport at the salon absolut beauty they charged me an extortionate rate for services which was never outlined to me at the time. I was charged €7.50 for a SQUIRT of serum and never explained that this service would be an additional cost. The manager Sonia was incredibly rude and threatened to call the police when I outlined that I had never been informed that hairspray, serum, shampoo and condition would all be additional costs! Not too mind a €7 texturiser that I never even asked for! I cannot believe the horrendous customer service and falsity I just experienced and the embarassment when I asked for a simple explanation as to why I was never informed about these additional costs and she screamed for the police. Totally absurd- it's the worst and most expensive blow dry I have ever had!
This is completely against my consumer rights to charge me for a service which is as standard in salons an inclusive feature without clearly stating to the customer at the time it is not included and then to threaten police action when I tried to clearly outline this fact. Sonia, the manager was an absolute disgrace and I am appalled by her vicious and aggressive tone. At one stage I thought she was verbally abusive as she stormed off after shouting in my face causing a huge scene.
As a service that is provided in your airport I believe clarity of information, factual and ethical selling and responsibility should be key factors in the customer experience. I am disgusted by this salons sly tactics and aggressive demeanor. It is imperative for your airport and the well being of potential flyers and customers that this be taken seriously.
