We've been to different pools, but here suddenly she flourishes in the pool. The pool is quite modern, with an indoor slide and a little adventure world for the little ones. There is an outdoor pool, everything is still pretty new and clean. At time you can't find parking at their car park, which is frustrating as street parking is rare. The only downside is the staff. Arrogant pushy unfriendly girls working at the reception and the school. I nearly slapped one little tart who came and started to tell me off about something she got wrong. Not sure where they take their attitude and confident from that this is how you talk to clients. Thus my 2 star rating. The clientele is made up of Chinese, Indians and Caucasians. So don't expect a fistfight. Last not least. The coffee shop seems to be serving Caucasians first. So depending if you like that sort of behaviour, could be good or bad.

**DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE**…read more Extremely disappointing and stressful experience with Nereids. I paid $1,320 upfront for 12 private swimming lessons for my 3-year-old daughter. After our original instructor became unavailable, months followed of chasing Nereids and being offered replacement instructors who could not meet the availability and arrangements we had originally requested. After a lengthy dispute, Nereids finally approved an $880 refund for our 8 unused lessons. Despite taking my original $1,320 in one lump sum, they are now refusing to return my $880 in one payment and instead insist on refunding it in fortnightly instalments. What should have been a simple and enjoyable experience for my daughter became months of unnecessary stress and frustration. For a service that charges a premium price, I expected significantly better customer service and resolution. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend Nereids.

I am a 70-year old woman who just wanted to learn how to swim. I contacted NAC to enquire about…read morelessons, and they assigned a swimming instructor, Diego, to come to the Retirement Village where I live, to coach me in our Village pool. From our first lesson, I was very impressed with Diego. He is professional, punctual, patient, and he explains and demonstrates techniques well. He challenges me to do better, which I like, but is never pushy. I had no idea just how much there is to learn about swimming, but with only 6 x half-hour lessons, I have already learned so much from Diego. With each technique learned, I have grown more and more confident in the water, and as my confidence grows, so does my belief in myself. I am also a very tense person, but swimming is teaching me to relax more. Apart from the convenience of being able to learn to swim in my own surroundings, I was impressed with the ease with which all arrangements were made online. The founder, Nikos, with whom I have also had contact, is very helpful and accommodating. All in all, my experience with NAC has been excellent and I am so happy to have found them! I would have no hesitation to recommend them to anyone who seriously wants to learn how to swim.

I love it. I swam comps in this pool from the time it was built and do there's something very Olympic about it. Swimming in the training pool is not so fun. It often gets overcrowded and its full of kids (and yes, no doubt wee as well). In both the pools, the clientele this centre attracts have no idea how to self-diagnose their swimming ability. It's either that, or they don't see (or read) the signs. Fast means FAST. Like at least 60s per lap. Blergh. Now that I've taken this opportunity to vent during a review - here's some tips: 1. Four hours free parking on ticket validation - bring it inside the centre with you 2. If you can, shower elsewhere. They are pretty gross unless you know where the secret ones are - and I'm not telling 3. If you have nothing to do with the kids, take them into that water park. Apparently that's fun for some and when the wave pool goes off, well, I'll leave the suspense at that. 4. Get the lockers with the keys at $2 per use. Better value and easier to operate. 5. Don't go at lunchtime on the weekend. Trust me.

On entering the car park I saw signs saying the car park was $5 per hour (more on that in a bit). I managed to park near the entrance and entered what looks like an underground bunker. No queues and admission for one adult and one child was $13. They took my parking ticket and validated it for 4 hours free parking - result! The centre is very impressive with a large Olympic pool to the left of you with the high diving boards. On the right is another pool and the kids area. Lockers are $2 per use, each time you open and close them will cost you $2. Changing rooms were a bit bizarre. There were 4 family rooms that you could lock but they were huge and very wet! There were other changing rooms open to anyone but the showers could have done with regular inspections. There was chewing gum and toilet paper on the floor. Shame! Onto the swimming and fun! There is a huge area just right for young kids to play around in the water with plenty of fountains and little slides to play on. Every 10 minutes or so the huge bucket would tip over and drench everyone underneath it. All the kids would make sure they were positioned ready to get soaked. To the right was a lazy river which went round in a huge circle. It was really strong and my daughter loved it. Up above it was a fairly fast slide which my daughter also loved. There is a height limit of 120cm for the slide. All in all, great afternoon of fun. Changing rooms could do with an attendant to keep them nice and clean.
