We feared that we would need to replace a $2500 appliance. I stopped by Moore Appliance to see if this is something they could take a look at. They set me up with an appointment for the next day "between 12 and 5." The technician called at 12:00 to let us know he was on the way, and he arrived about 10 minutes later. He immediately determined the previous occupants used oven cleaner, which clogged the burner and the gas intake. He explained you should not use oven cleaner on a gas over for this reason.
