I came across this place as a referral from a friend, who previously purchased a used washer from…read morethem. Thus, was optimistic on having a good experience. I contacted them in order to have someone come to my house and diagnose the problems I was having with my portable washer. They charged me $60 to have someone come over, but the amount would be applied to the price to have my washer fixed, should I choose to do so. The person that came over and told me that my water pump was broken, and it would cost about $220 to repair it. Specifically, the pump itself would cost $150, and labor would be about $70. Considering it would cost me about the same price to purchase a brand new portable washer, I declined to have it fixed. Well I checked for the price of the water pump online from Sears, and the retail price was only $50. Therefore, the low rating is reflective of the dishonesty I experienced. As a consumer, I understand that the quote would probably inflated, but to inflate the price 3X the retail rate is unreasonable. We live in a generation where we can find almost anything on the internet; the price of an item is an objective, and can easily be researched. Hence, had the person quoted me in the $120 - $150 range, it definitely would have been more reasonable, and perhaps even more likely I would have had them fix it. I can't speak for the quality of appliances they have at the store, but I would probably think twice if you are looking for them to repair your used appliance.

We had to replace our 20+ year old appliances. We ordered the same appliances so that they could…read morefit in the existing cut-outs in our kitchen. We ordered a gas cooktop, wall oven, and a dishwasher. We tried to find an installer who could work with gas. We finally found Jeff at Appliance Service and Installation. After I told him about the appliances, he wanted to come and look everything over. Little did we know how appliances have changed in those years! Wall ovens now require their own built-in wall cabinet and they no longer fit in the existing base cabinet! They are 2" deeper. Jeff told us that he would have to move the existing gas line so that the oven could fit in the same space. Our old dishwasher used to be hard-wired. Now it came with a plug so we had to install a new plug. So, this was going to be quite a job. Jeff is VERY knowledgeable and professional and he explained how he would proceed with the job. He told us how much he charges (he works by the hour) and our job took him nearly 7 hours (he told us it would take this long). It was WORTH it!!!!!! We are confident that the electrical works, everything was done correctly and safely. The new gas line was installed with a new regulator. All the appliances are working correctly and smoothly. What a relief! Jeff is also very respectful of your house. He worked very cleanly! He even swept up after he finished! In the end, I believe you get what you pay for. I would NOT hesitate to have Jeff come and work on any appliance that we have.

Dan took my dead TV to his shop, identified the part that needed to be replaced, ordered the part, repaired my TV, and delivered it back to our house within one week. Now that is service!!! Dan also took the time to set up the repaired TV and made sure that I saw it was in perfect working order before he left our house.
