I have a dishwasher that went dead and let me tell you something... I am often discouraged to seek professional appliance, car, or even home repair help because MOST of the time I am taken advantage of for NOT having knowledge in such things. I have nothing but GREAT WORDS and WONDERFUL expectations for this company. I have never felt more comfortable asking questions without being judge or spoken down to. The technician was so helpful and honest to what was wrong with the dishwasher. He didn't take advantage of me not knowing anything about the appliance whatsoever. If you need an honest, kind, knowledgeable, great customet service appliance company... CALL APPLIANCE CLINIC IMMEDIATELY! You won't regret it! read more

Horrible experience. They were sent to me via my home warranty and have done nothing but make things worse. They damaged my condensing unit with a hole, which voided the warranty. Now I have no AC and no money to fix it. They are complete crooks, don't work with them. read more

Our home warranty went through Appliance Clinic to replace our hvac system. Barbara at Appliance Clinic was extremely helpful in getting our unit as quickly as possible. Fidel and James were both very professional, polite and knowledgeable. They removed the old unit and installed our new system without any problems. We couldn't be any happier with Appliance Clinic! read more

Our AC went out yesterday and we contacted our home warranty last night! He called this morning and put our service first. Fidel and his partner had our unit up and running within 20 minutes. He was helpful, and explained so much about the repair and maintenance needed to help with keeping our units up and running. We are forever customers! Thank you so much! read more

Most unprofessional owner I have came across. Only reason I came in contact with this company was because of my warranty company. Very rude when I asked him if he had heard anything about my AC parts, he snapped on me and was very unprofessional. I do not recommend will never ask for their service. read more

Don't trust them to have your best interest at heart. After visiting us by means of a home warranty service call, they were unable to fix the issue with our AC. In addition to not being able to fix the AC issue, they knowingly screwed us over with our warranty company. SO thanks for that, do not trust this company, there's a million other AC companies in the area, give them a shot instead. read more

Appliance Clinic came to my house in a timely manner and replaced my heating ducts in attic. They were amazing! The staff really listened to me and helped me out! My heater is working great! Thank you! read more

Appliance Clinic..James and Anthony We're great.. On time, clean, professional, informative, answered all questions, concerns. Stayed longer than expected. Had to adapt replacement parts to fit some original (decade+ old) unit. Home Warranty only ok'd repair, not complete replacement. James informed us of present/future concerns that they will pass on to home warranty Co. Would (and have) recommend them. read more

Appliance Clinic Heating and Air is contracted with Fidelity National Home Warranty. Both companies are worthless. Temperatures have been in the mid to high 100's and I waited 5 days to be contacted by this company. I was never contacted though I left several messages. Finally I called a contractor that was not covered by the warranty and got my AC fixed almost immediately. Worthless!! read more

Fidelity Home Warranty paired me up with this company when my microwave stopped heating food. It was a Friday when I called and after a long weekend of living stove top (ie Stone Age) only, Alex called me Monday morning to set up the repair. We sent a few texts back and forth regarding issue and information on microwave and he was able to diagnose problem and part needed based off my description. He had the part in and had the appliance fixed the next day! Here is another scenario where one should not judge a company by its overall Yelp stars. 5 stars to Alex and AC! read more

These folks are the BEST! I've had them respond twice now, for different repairs, and the technicians have been courteous, professional and on time. I highly recommend the Appliance Clinic. read more

If I could give this business 0 stars I would, you want fast and reliable service this company is not the answer, had no heat in my apartment for a week, due to working so much it was difficult getting an appointment, finally made an appointment where I had a day off, nobody shows up, lost my whole morning and evening waiting on for nobody to show up, called and their answer was they had the wrong apartment number which is bogus, if they had common sense they would of called my number they had on file to make sure everything was legit. Apparently the guys name Alex called me back and said he had the wrong apartment number he will come back the following day to fix my heater around 3 PM, guess what I'm home all day waiting and guess what?! No one shows again. Lost my whole Saturday and sorry isn't going to give me my days off back along with a list of things to do and catch up on since I work 24/7. And let's not forget the cold nights after a shower, my kids weren't happy either. Don't waste your time on these folks! Especially if you don't like your time wasted. read more

I forgot to mention that the home warranty people had another company come out, took the guy 5 mins to see the drain was never hooked up. Hooked it up and it ran like a champ... read more

If I could give this company a 0 I would. Absolutely horrible to work with!! Took them over a month to fix our refrigerator. When the owner "Fidel" is literally useless you can't expect much from his employees. Not one person in this business takes responsibility for anything. Weather it's the office, tech guys, or fidel there always pointing fingers at each other. And they charged my insurance company $900 literally to vacuum my refrigerator compressor and leaves us a mess to find out it fixed the issue for 12 hours then whatever he did made my freezer go out as well. Over 30 days later I finally get it fixed and he gets ofended when I tel him this is f****** ridiculous. Save your time and money go somewhere else. read more

Good job, if you have AHS make sure you request the service from appliance Clinic. Don't let AHS pick the contractor for you. They will pick the cheapest and no good contractor to go to your house. Ask for Mike from appliance Clinic. Great job read more

Their follow through is horrendous. The tech did not communicate with the office to order parts and they never return calls for updates. Very unorganized business but this is who my warranty company uses. Wish I could find another company. I would jump ship in a heartbeat. read more

The worst! STAY AWAY. DON"T CALL!!!! Said they would be out on a repair on a Wednesday, after coming out on the previous Friday.. didn't have the part had to be ordered. Okay fine, I thought. Wednesday comes.." Can we come out on Friday, We're really busy" I get from them. I say fine, take that Friday morning off, and get the a call we'll be out between 8-11. Well about noon I call and get a voice mail. No one ever showed. STAY THE HELL AWAY! Now I hear back and they only have one guy and he can't make it, maybe next Monday... So ticked no one can keep their word anymore! read more

Appliance clinic is the contracted servicer of our apartment complex for A/c repairs. I submitted a work order on Sunday, by Monday Fidel from Apliance Clinic had left a voicemail for us to schedule a service call. We called and they said it would be a few days due to a funeral and they were closing. This is understandable for a small company, however with contracted work, it should have been referred to another contracted servicer from the apartment complex warranty. Ultimately they scheduled a tech to visit four days later, 6 days total for us in August, I took off work that afternoon and waited for the tech; this also gave me time to vacuum under the beds/dressers and clean out my canned food cabinet, turned on the iPod nano, opened front door and began the fun. Soon a tech was on the rooftop, however just as quick he was gone. No knock, no hi, nothing but a door hanger. A week later we received a call saying we were delinquent on the bill. We are a tenant in a rental property, you need to bill the property management company or owner. We called the onsite rep/janitor and they said the company told them we never answered our phone and the repair couldn't be made. I'm not sure what happened with that storyline, however once the company arrived and made the repair, the experience was far better than another with a local co I'd chosen as prior homeowner. 6/10 overall 3/10 customer service - administrative support 7/10 on site repair read more

Our furnace went out on Christmas eve, call our home warranty (Fidelity National) 12/25 and on 12/26, Fidel Herrera from Appliance Clinic came out, diagnosed the problem, had to return to shop to get the required part, returned, repaired and we are back to normal. Very happy with the service from Appliance clinic and Fidelity National home Warranty for the prompt service. read more

Fidel is the man! He's repaired many of my appliances. I've known him for over 5 years. He's a loyal and trustworthy man.

Appliance clinic was contracted through my home warranty company to repair my microwave on March 5th. Our AC went out during extremely hot weather. Appliance Clinic did a phenomenal job, from start to finish. Barbara was great in coordinating our work order with Fidelity National Home Warranty. James Herrera was AMAZING in diagnosing the problem & repairing our system. No corners were cut. It was 1st class, all the way. James was so knowledgeable, courteous & a hard worker! This family business ROCKS! KS in Pismo Beach. Thank you!! read more

James came out to provide pre-season maintenance on both HVAC units for my two properties. He couldn't have been more professional, polite or accommodating. He questioned an issue to be sure I was aware of a possible leak. Turns out I wasn't, so very glad he addressed it and now I can make the necessary fix. Will request James from Appliance Clinic every time I call Fidelity Home Warranty for an appliance repair. read more

Alex fro Appliance repair arrived bright and early on Monday morning. Very knowledgable, friendly and fast. I will be asking Fidelity Home Warranty for Appliance Clinic every time!! read more

There just aren't enough GREAT things I can say about this company. The Appliance Clinic was contracted through my home warranty company (Old Republic) to replace my built-in microwave in May 2013. James was the technician dispatched to my home, and he was prompt, courteous and professional. My microwave is still going strong! My air conditioner stopped blowing out cold air this morning, and once again Old Republic sent out The Appliance Clinic. The technician (James again!) arrived a little more than one hour later, and what I dreaded would be a complete overhaul of my unit turned out to be a sensor "time delay" - James quickly rectified this and added more freon as the unit was low. The whole operation took no more than 40 minutes! The Appliance Clinic is simply an honest and reliable company with friendly, knowledgable employees. I am so happy to have found them! Give them a call, you will not be disappointed! read more

I have fidelity home warranty that sent this company out to fix my air conditioning in my house. My ac broke on Friday night this company came out at 5 p.m. Saturday spent 10 minutes here and claimed they fixed the ac. Said it was just a loose wire. I left for the evening thinking I would come home to an air conditioned house and boy was I wrong. My ac was still broke and it was 86 degrees in my house. It is now Monday and I still have no ac. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They do not know what they are doing. read more

Fidel is awesome. When our refrigerator stopped working , our warranty company referred Appliance Clinic to us. My husband called and received a return call that day. Fidel came out, diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. He even took all our food to his home to refrigerate and freeze. When the part was on backorder from Kitchenaid, he found us one. Came back , fixed and returned food. Highly recommend read more

I have Fidelity home warranty. My AC went out on a Saturday afternoon. The initial company that took the service call never contacted me after several hours that same day. After tracking their answering service down, I figured out they closed 3 hours after receiving the call and wouldn't open again until Monday. In 100+ degree Bakersfield summers, this won't cut it. I called Fidelity late that afternoon and explained the heat situation. Fidel Herrera reached out to me within the hour and let me know he would be over first thing Sunday morning. He came out, diagnosed the problem, and ordered the parts needed. As soon as the parts came in, he returned and had my AC running again in record time. I appreciate how professional this company is, and how they stayed in contact with me and kept me updated about the parts needed. I would definitely recommend this company. Fidel Herrera is a true professional, very knowledgeable, and great at what he does! I would probably still be waiting on the other company if The Appliance Clinic hadn't contacted me. I'm definitely grateful to be cool in this terrible Bakersfield heat. Thank you Fidel and Company! read more

These fine gentlemen took a couple of days to get to me because of the heatwave. The whole town of Bakersfield is roasting. Fidel knows his craft! After 5 months of the warranty company ordering the wrong parts and sending technicians out to install the wrong parts, Fidel took photographs, did the research, and got us the proper parts and installed them right the first time. This company is horrible and the "supervisor" Joe is rude and verbally abusive. It's been 5 days with no response on fixing my appliance that they have already been paid to fix! Dishonest company and I'd never recommend anyone use this "business" for anything!! read more

No show and no call for appointment entire day. When Fidel showed up the next day after being called by manager to repair the dishwasher that isn't cleaning the dishes, he left an ambiguous scribble on the invoice he left with the apartment manager. Said it's working well. When I asked the manager what was meant, she said I could call him. Unfortunately I live in an apartment with poor service and they hire same for the cheap appliances that break down regularly. read more

This place is a hoax!!!! I paid $50.09 every month for their services through Sears. My refrigerator broke down early while under original warranty and was fixed immediately by Sears. It broke down again but into the second year, so, I had to go through this idiotic company. Took 4 days to get a repairman, took him 5 days to order the part and after 3 weeks it still was not fixed. I told them I was going to the newspaper if they didn't fix immediately. They called me and told me since I threatened them they would return the part when it did come and refused to repair the refrigerator!!!!!! They are to me, crooks and don't care about the customer. Do not get involved with this company, they are worst of the worst!! I am still going to our local paper, news station, the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and anything else I have to do. My name is p davison and these are true statements! I would give them no stars but it won't let you do that. Hmm read more
