My child felt welcomed instantly despite being new. Lots of groups to join and opportunities to make new friends. I saw grades go from barely passing at the last school to honor roll grades at this one. The only negative things are getting in/out of the parking lot- it's a mess. The school website is pretty bad and could use some help to make it more user friendly. There is one lady in the office that seems particularly grouchy, and the schedules during finals week were beyond confusing. That being said, This is a great district to send your kids to. But here I am. Alive and well in April of 2023. Some of the food here at west is the most repelling you've ever had, mystery meats on what seems like off-brand fake rice. Milk that doesn't seem trustable. But there's another side to the food, the best you've ever had. (There's no in between). I'll start with the nachos. They are the thing that has so many varieties that nobody expects. Some of these being taco salad, just simply add taco sauce to it and mix it all up. Or just eat them traditionally. It goes crazy on a Monday either way. But don't ruin it and eat it every day of the week. Then it tastes bland and gets old fast. Secondly, the daily "special" area. The food here is where you have to be careful. Inconsistent and most of the time, rather mid, the food here is a force to be reckoned with. Most of the questionable food is served here, make sure to avoid anything on rice or what looks like rice, usually the "rice" sucks the moisture out of it and it is dry. But make sure to visit when they serve stuff such as the Buffalo chicken, burger bar and fries , or also the mac and cheese . Third, the chicken sandwiches and the "pizzas". The chicken sandwiches are a very reliable and solid food choice if you want, especially the spicy ones. Same with the burgers. But When the Nashville hot chicken sandwiches are out, go straight for them, they are better than chick fil'a and are fire . But avoid pizza imo. Some people swear by the school pizza, but I think it sucks personally. It is fr mid and not that good. Lastly, the sub bar and ice cream (). The sub bar is straight heat and never misses, with the realest food of all and straight fire choices, you can't go wrong with it. The school also sells ice cream for $1.50. I was in the BSN program at Bellin and I never even made it on the honor roll. Since I transferred I have made it on Dean's list every single semester. Even though there are teachers at Bellin that will offer assistance every single step of the way there are also many teachers that won't help there is no in-between with teachers.

It is hard, but I managed to still get all A's my first semester there. I am a transfer student from UW-Oshkosh, before that UW-Fox Valley. I am taking one more semester of classes before going into the 15 month BSN program since I will have all my requirements met. As far as help goes, I couldn't have been in better hands! I got sick and had documentation from the veterans hospital so that I could stay enrolled after getting a month behind due to medical reasons. All of my professors were caring, planned everything to make up, and were patient with me when it came to completing my work. I still had to take the same exams, tests, and do all of the work everyone else did. It was very hard, but I still caught up while being able to earn all A's. I also had my significant other in the hospital and had to care for my son while going to school. I feel that I should share my private details of what happened because of seeing some other negative reviews so that everyone can get an idea of how Bellin College is as a whole and how they really treat students. One of the deans at the college even met with me during my semester and supported me all the way with an open door policy if I ever needed any help. They don't discriminate and are more than fair to everyone of all types. Your not just a number there and it feels like a family. Everyone is there to help you and your not a lost voice left to struggle. I was very nervous and awkward as a first semester transfer student, but once I got behind everyone as a whole worked with me every step of the way. If I was able to get straight A's and was behind a month in classes like general chemistry, anatomy and physiology 2, etc... as a full time student while being a disabled veteran than I think anyone can be successful as well here. I just completed my first semester as a transfer student this spring 2022 so this is a recent review. I'm not being asked to do this, but after seeing some negative reviews I had to say something since I had the opposite experience. Give them a chance it's a very good school with a serious reputation. Nothing worth getting is easy either of course it's going to be hard at times. Take care and consider applying if your interested in healthcare professions in nursing, physical therapy or radiological technology. They have other programs as well so check out the website. I am still a student here and can't give an elaborate description of what they offer. The important thing I wanted to add was the review as how they are as a college, how my experience was and what to expect as a student. Take care!

After being a stay-at-home mom for 3 years, I was terrified to learn that I had to return to work…read morefull-time. I wasn't sure where to leave my 3 year old. Creative Child was recommended to me by a friend from church. She knows the director personally, because the director teaches Sunday school/religion classes to her child. When I first arrived, I was welcomed to take a tour of the center. The director was friendly and answered all of my questions. She reassured me and made me feel at ease. My 3 year old has been going there for 3 months. I couldn't be happier. The staff is wonderful and the director cares for the children there as if they were her own. My child did have a few issues adjusting and lashed out at her teacher, but we all met and figured out the best way to handle it. The director (and teacher) were very understanding and offered worked with us to resolve the issue. I couldn't imagine trusting anyone else with my child. I'm so glad for Creative Child!

Unless you have a very mild mannered 2-5 year old, who never acts out or misbehaves, I would not recommend this place. I wanted to pull her out for months but instead, kept working with them on things so I didn't have to add anymore changes to my daughter's life. Well, let's just say I wish I would've pulled her much sooner. The director also spoke to me as if I were a child, spoke to me poorly about my child and then behaved like a child once I gave my 2 week notice. Positive thing is most of the actual teachers are caring and have good programs for the children throughout the day.

This place recently became part of the "Empire" cosmetology college chain. I'm not sure what that…read moremeans, exactly, but it seems to be running just the same as I remember. *** Good, cheap haircuts - $8-10 or something like that. As with all schools, you run the risk of something not turning out well at the hand of an inexperienced student, but if you're just looking for a trim this place can do just fine. I've had some of the MOST relaxing head massages here - they seem to go on forever! Stylists are friendly, and I've never found it to be too crowded. Their newish building has lots of space, and natural light, which gives a somewhat high-class vibe to an otherwise not-so-classy establishment. Often hard to get a walk-in appointment (at least, the few times I've tried to do it). Probably best to call ahead.

With food, I'd say its better than the average school food your seeing on social media- but your definitely not getting 5 star treatment. Occasionally the bottled water will be completely frozen I will warn.
