I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a teeny bit disappointed with it here. I was told the food was really, really good, and honestly, I could have made mine at home the same way, but for so much cheaper.
I ordered the Three Cheese Toastie, thinking I'd be wowed with the flavours, yet it tasted like just one cheese to me, and the sandwich was a flat press, just like I do at home, rather than a nice thick one that showed it had been made thoughtfully and specially. My friend got a mushroom roll, but it was like a burger and she said it tasted average.
If you're in the area, and you're a bit peckish, then maybe I'd suggest you try it. But it's a touch overpriced for what you get, and it kind of left me wanting more, and wishing I hadn't driven purposefully 20 minutes each way to try it. read more
