For an American bar, this place would be above average, but for Tampico, this place is a bit higher end than most-- they have televisions everywhere, air conditioning, and well-kept bathrooms. They have a solid lunch special where you get an appetizer, an entrée, a soft drink, and a small dessert for considerably less than 200 pesos ($10 USD). Most of us went with this option. My wife opted for a pasta dish with shrimp. She seemed to enjoy it. I went with the milanesa portuguesa, which was surprisingly thin, but delicious. It came with a twice baked potato and some greens. Others ordered a variety of items, including fajitas and a vegetarian Panini. I didn't hear anyone say anything negative about their meal. The dessert was a small slice of cuatro leches cake. The size would have been disappointing at a higher price point, but after the filling meal at the cheap price, it was perfect. A couple of individuals went with the cappuccino instead. We thought they meant a cappuccino flavored cake, but no, they substituted an actual coffee drink. I ended up getting both and they paired well together. Service was a bit slow considering how empty the place was, but the servers were courteous and made sure to get our drinks refilled and various items upon request.

Had me a nice player of Sausage, pretzel and a type of buttered toasted baguette, a nice side of potatoes wedges with a poblano mayo dip. Also tried a Dark Porter, called Black Porter, a real caramel, chocolaty and coffee treat, low suds, low carbonation treat very tasty, this guy makes some mean brew. I love every visit here.

Robleoro is the real deal. Their beers and ciders could stand next to one from anywhere in the world. Fabian is a genius. Obviously he's in a smallish town with not a lot of craft beer lovers yet, so the place needs more exposure, but if you are thirsty for something besides commercially produced piss water go to Robleoro and get some beer made with love.
