Pretty chill environment and the severs are nice. The food is pretty much like pub food. The spinach artichoke is pretty good. Enjoy the options for appetizers. Would recommend the create your own platter bc you can choose your own plate of apps. The blue Hawaii wasn't very strong and a bit too sour. Needed something to even it out a little better. The color was cool though. Nice place to go and hangout with friends but there are probably better options in the area. Came here because of the ads lately (good job advertising department). I had extremely low expectations but was pleasantly surprised by my experience. We started things off with cheese bites and mozzarella sticks. I'd give the cheese bites a 9/10 and mozzarella sticks a 7/10. I got a strawberry smoothie that was fire 9.5/10. The Mountain Dew dark berry flavor was mids. It was missing something so I'll give that a 6/10. I got the sirloin with shrimp, mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steak was decent. Not the best not the worst maybe a 7.5/10. Same with the broccoli. Could use more seasoning. The mashed potatoes however were heater. I'd give them a 9.3/10. Overall succeeded my expectations but could use a little smoothing out on the edges. My homie had similar experiences. He gave the mozz sticks a 7/10. Cheese curds were a solid 9. Could've been a 10/10 on the right day, just not today but still exceptional. The fries were great! Fresh! The chicken sandwich is mid, if he had some ranch it would've been a solid 7 but he sold and got no sauce so he gave it a 5/10. I ordered a 2 for $24 which were both entrees 8 oz sirloins, both medium-rare, entrees on DoorDash. One of the steaks was cooked perfectly and tasted fine, and the other was completely black on the underside. Way burnt, it made the last half of the steak inedible. Whole steak tasted off. We were over in the Speedway area and decided to go to the Applebee's for lunch and got the two for 25 entrée. It was a very delicious and we enjoyed it very much. I got the 6 ounce steak with broccoli and green beans trying to be carb conscious, we also ordered an appetizer of spicy Asian chicken wings which were very flavor bowl now they were spicy but not too spicy came with ranch, dipping sauce and celery. I did use the ranch dipping sauce for my broccoli, which helped the taste factor go up quite a bit with the broccoli, my wife ordered the 6 ounce steak medium well and the mashed potatoes with the garlicky green beans. She enjoyed her meal very much as well as a side point our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. The business had just opened up for lunch at 11 o'clock yet she was very attentive and seem to be enjoying her job Which we found very pleasant to be around we will definitely return as a side point the 86th and ditch Applebee's. We are not sure if it is still open or not so hopefully things will improve at that particular location. read more

There was an 8th grade formal that had just gotten out and all went to this Applebee's. We were told a 20 minute wait, but we watched 3 or 4 tables get sat before us. We even saw a server come up front, get a group of people and take them to a table and tell them, "I'll go ahead and sit you since you my boo thing". We finally got sat after talking to a manager. It took a while to get our appetizers. Not too long after that our food came out. My sister in law ordered a steak and it looked like jerky when it came out. I've watched kitchen staff touch food with bare hands. Zero hair nets. The bar drain leaks into the bar ice so who knows what's going into your child's lemonade. Don't get me started on the dirty blenders and fruit flies. You should see some of the dirty build up by the back soda machine. The grime build up around the expo printer in the back should be tackled with a knife and 3 days worth of sanitizer water. The general manager Ross truly does not care about his employees or customers here. He is extremely unprofessional, lazy and cheap. Constantly cutting corners so he can make back extra for his own personal bonus $$. Don't even think about asking for crayons for your child's kid menu. How does a GM get away with working 7am to 12pm most days?? You will not see him there when it is busy, he leaves his managers out to dry and does not run a fair work environment. I've been coming to this location for years, its convenient, close to work and home and I've learned how they prepare food, so I can order to my liking. I've only had one food mishap and that was extremely overcooked, burnt onion rings, but, worth a full review? It must have been the cooks bad day. But, tonight, it was the way I was treated. Talked down to, in an almost sick, sweetening way, and it was insinuated I would not get my food, unless I did as I was told. I arrived and the Carside to Go parking spots were all taken, but 1, and to get into it, my car would have been 6 - 10 inches on either side. I lined my car up, then thought, I can't get out...but, no problem, they are bringing to me, but, oh no! They wouldn't be able to get to the car to the right of me, and they wouldn't be able to deliver to me. I backed up, and continued to the next parking spot to the right of carside to go. I call the phone number on the sign and announce I'm there and the color and make of my car. The gentleman was real polite, and said they'd be out with my order real soon. I sit and watched all the other cars taken care of and then I sit for 5 minutes more. I thought it was strange no one was bringing my food out, and one of the other cars they took food to, was just sitting there eating his food. So, I called again, to ask if anything was wrong, as I had been waiting for 15 minutes now and all the others had been taken care of. I was told I was not parked in a carside to go spot, therefore they did not know I was there. I said, I called, like the sign said, and told them I was here, 15 minutes ago. The lady was extremely sweet and said you are not in a carside to go spot, we cant see you. I replied the only car closer to the in/out door is in front of door, I am in spot to the right. (A girl that had delivered to me a few times before saw me, and I don't know if guy that ran out a couple times saw me or not.) But, my large order had to be sitting in there, and note on it of my car, if the man that answered took that responsibility. She then sweetly said, if I wanted my food, I needed to back up, and pull over one spot into the carside to go spot, and then they would bring it out. I said okay, not wanting to argue that this was an inappropriate way to treat a paying customer. I have literally spent hundreds of dollars at this restaurant over the last 3 - 4 years and I always leave generous tips. If the problem was the next parking spot over was disabled parking, well I fit that profile as well. For the long wait, and no doubt cold food by this time, I should have been offered an 'I'm sorry for your wait reward', instead of "if you want your food, then back your car up, and pull into the next space over". Been here since 9:50pm. We literally live across the street. 1 minute away. While we waited to be seated a party of 5 and 2 other parties that came in after us were sat before us. The man was told 40 min for a party of 5 and we'd been already standing and waiting for 20 min before he came in. So now my husband and I had to wait even longer. Oh, Applebee's. You used to be my guilty pleasure. I loved your weekday lunch. I loved your wings. I hadn't been in quite a while so we stopped in while doing some shopping in the 'burbs. A year ago I gave this location a ZERO review. What a difference a year makes. Service and food are better than ever here. My wife and I have been here twice in the last couple of months to maybe see what has changed. We have been very happy both times. I would like to see more local craft beer selections considering how many great ones we have here in Indianapolis, but I would definitely make this location one of our regular stops again. Since my husband hadn't sat down yet, I asked for water. When he did sit down, she asked him the same question and then said, She ordered water in a bar. Honestly, screw this Applebees and all of its staff. My mom and I come in and see the place is packed. Thats alright, we're willing to wait. The hostess apologizes for not promptly getting us seated. Then once we're seated, the fun starts. Our server, Joe, gets our drinks out quickly and takes our orders then after that he's nowhere to be found. A different server brings our food out after 10-15 minutes. My chicken "tenders" are burned to a crisp and without the sauce I ordered and my moms quesadillas are practically empty and without sourcream. So we wave over a manager (she was on the floor because SEVERAL other tables were also complaining) and she gets our food remade. My chicken comes out and its all good this time but by the time I'm done, my moms new quesadillas are nowhere to be seen. This is when our sever shows back up asking how it all tastes and my mom tells him she couldnt say as she hadnt gotten it. Couple minutes later he brings it back and my mom just asks for a box and the bill. He practically snatches back her plate and disappears for another few minutes before returning the the bill and boxed quesadillas. The bill charged us for TWO quesadillas and TWO chicken strip platters so she asks for the manager a third time. We wait another 15 minutes for the manager who never shows back up. We love applebees but we will NEVER be returning to this particular location. Would rate no stars if I could. read more

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars, I would! My husband and I went to Applebee's about 4 or 5 months ago, and had awful service. Our waiter was super, super slow and disappeared for long periods of time. Then when our order came, my husband's wasn't correct (he ordered no mayo, so when our waiter finally made it to the table, he said he would bring a new bun, which he did - 10 minutes later!). My daughters and I decided yesterday evening we would go in and order some appetizers. We sat quite a while before we were waited on. Our waiter finally came and took our drink order, and didn't come back with the drinks for a very long time. He was nowhere to be found, but then right before he brought our drinks, one of my daughters saw him come in the back door of the restaurant with this coat on - guess he needed a smoke break!! We ordered our appetizers and potato soup. When someone delivered the potato soup, it was barely warm - not even warm enough to melt the cheese they put on the top of it. Needless to say, we weren't eating it and were waiting for our waiter to come to the table. He was at a table waiting on another party, and looked at our table at least three times and had to have noticed our bowls of soup were just sitting there full, but didn't come over to check on us! At that point, we threw some money on the table to pay for what we had received, and left. I will NEVER go to this restaurant again. The service is absolutely horrible, employees are not friendly, and I can't even count the number of tables that were filled with used plates and drink cups. Horrible customer service. I ordered $60+ worth of food online only to be shorted several items. When I noticed (already at home) the only solution I was offered was to drive back and pick it up. So I drove back (15min one way) only for them to give me my food and try to charge me again, for the items they missed! I told them absolutely not and drove home empty handed.
