We can't say enough great things about Apple Tree! Our first child started here when he was 18 months old and stayed until he was ready for preschool. Thanks to the incredible care and preparation he received at Apple Tree, his transition to preschool at CAIS was smooth and easy. The teachers did a wonderful job prepping him, making sure he was ready for the next step. They also sparked his love for Mandarin, which has been a wonderful addition to his learning alongside Hindi, Kannada and English. During the challenging times of Covid, they went above and beyond to ensure the safety and well-being of the children, maintaining a nurturing environment while implementing strict health protocols. Now, 7 years later when our second child was born we couldn't imagine sending her anywhere else. she has been attending Apple Tree since she was just 4 months old, Jasmine and the teachers are warm, attentive, and truly care about the kids. They've been just as wonderful with our daughter as they were with our son. Apple Tree has been a second home for our family, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a nurturing and supportive daycare environment.

Both our babies went to AppleTree and we really loved Jasmine and the staff. The staff are very nurturing and bonded with our kids and our babies were always happy during drops offs. They are also very organized and the daycare is clean. They provide great care and allowed children to learn so many skills like prepping food together, washing hands, throwing trash in garbage and wiping up spills. My son started there at 1 year old and by the time he's 2 years he has really learned a lot even certain phrases in Mandarin:) and he sings songs he learned there Apple Tree is a great daycare. Communication was good with Jasmine she knew our kids personality and was able to give us support and tips. My babies loved going there and I highly recommend them to others looking for childcare.

We choose Little Wonders because we loved the Montesorri curriculum and Ms Galyna was such a warm and wonderful teacher. Since starting at Little Wonders our daughter has gone through extraordinary development , she can write her name, count to 60, her drawing skills are amazing and her vocabulary and imagination are blossoming. I cannot recommend Little Wonders enough - it is a great school.

He's loved every year and it's been amazing to watch him grow in confidence and develop a genuine excitement for learning. The teachers take the time to understand each child's unique personality. We've been impressed with how they truly foster kindness, independence, and a love of learning. We also really like the balance of Montessori learning and traditional academics. Thanks to their guidance, our son is more than ready for kindergarten and was accepted into our private school of choice. He's also made wonderful friends and so many great memories. Some of his favorite moments include the class pumpkin patch trips, dressing up for Ms. Galyna's annual tea party, and fun pajama days. We've loved seeing photos of his projects, Montessori activities, baking days, gardening, music time, and so much more. We can't thank Little Wonders enough for giving our son such a strong, nurturing foundation.

The frequent and detailed updates are refreshing, and have provided us with the upmost confidence that our boys are growing and developing, while their safety is the focus every step of the way. I'm writing this a few days following a field trip that Tinker orchestrated to the Academy of Science. Myself and a few follow parents volunteered to chaperone, joining 5 full time teachers. The experience was so eye opening to all the care and effort the staff puts in day in and day out for our children. I wont post any pictures but just know it would be of 15 happy children, each with smiles from ear to ear! :) Highly highly recommend this program to all!!

They are not just a preschool but a genuine community with deep roots to the local neighborhood. The teachers and leadership stay up to date on evolving philosophies around early childhood development, with a strong focus on raising happy, confident, and emotionally well-adjusted children. There's a deep respect for each child as an individual, along with an emphasis on social-emotional growth, independence, and curiosity. So after 15 months of sheltering in place, and finding out I was pregnant again I knew I had to find a preschool for my 2 year old. My hubby and I interviewed at a few school and felt MMSGG would be a good fit for our family. My biggest fear was my baby girl would scream her head off and not interact with the other children. To my surprise there were no tears on the first day of school, instead all smiles. Two "big" girls held my daughters hands and walked her into the room to show her around. Ms. Tara does a good job of pairing an older child to a youngster to act as a mentor. It's a win/win for everyone. The best part has been watching babygirl form strong social connections with her classmates and her confidence skyrocket. In the year that my ,2 year old, daughter has been at MMSGG she has learned the days of the weeks, sings about the continents & oceans, improved her hand eye coordination, and recognizes numbers out of sequence.

Our child has absolutely thrived at Tinker!…read more One of the things we appreciate most is how attentive and loving the teachers are. Through our conversations with them, it's clear they really know our child--her personality, her needs, and the ways they can help her grow. I especially appreciate how they create safe, supportive opportunities for her to speak up and express herself. The emphasis on social-emotional learning has been wonderful to see. She's learning not only to assert herself and communicate her needs, but also to be empathetic and considerate of others. Tinker also does a great job fostering independence in everyday ways, from packing her own backpack to cleaning up after playing. We love how much learning happens through nature and hands-on experiences, whether it's collecting leaves and sticks for classroom projects or spending time in their backyard garden. We appreciate the time the children spend outdoors--now in preschool, our daughter gets to take longer field trips that help children explore the wider world and learn practical skills, like navigating public transportation. Overall, Tinker has been such a nurturing environment for our child to build confidence, curiosity, independence, and a genuine sense of connection with others. We're so grateful to the teachers for creating a space where she feels safe, supported, and excited to learn!

They are super attentive to the kids, very caring, and know how to shape the kids into wonderful little people. Some programs out there have hit or miss teachers who lack strong engagement with their kids and may just sit back. Not here. The teachers lean in and run a well designed program that thinks through emotional learning, academic learning, and structured play. Every time we have a school holiday the kids prepare and sing songs for the families and have choreographed routines. They learn how to follow instructions very well. On the learning front, our son is a fluent Mandarin listener via the Mandarin immersion and we expect that to set him up very well for a full K-5 Mandarin program. As a 4 year old he has been learning basic phonics and writing at school, which is an awesome acceleration over the status quo. Our son has developed extremely well in all dimensions as a result of his time at Tinker. We have also forged strong bonds with the community (parents, teachers, and staff). The PGA is highly engaged and we have many events throughout the school year. The one area that could be improved is back office organization and clear communications, especially upon grade transitions. But this is somewhat to be expected given all the moving pieces of families leaving and working around class size constraints. It all works out in the end!

Sarra and the entire team always made us feel very comfortable and we could see how much our son thrived there. As Sarah will note if you ask her, the teachers speak Mandarin, but the kids usually speak English to each other. On top of that, as a non-mandarin speaker, I was a little nervous at first that I wouldn't be able to communicate effectively with the staff. That was not the case. I never felt out of the loop on anything. I think it's also notable. Just how great we found the little bee parent community to be. We did not anticipate making such good friends so quickly. At the funston locations for little bee, in particular, there is a great community of parents hanging out at pickup and the kids play outside the front yard. If you want to get a feel for this I would suggest stopping by a little b or even just walking by, right around 5:00. Each class has 3 main teachers + floating teachers, who all care for the kids with kindness and empathy. The campus' location in the Presidio creates an idyllic and beautiful environment for the kids - they go outside to explore nature every morning and we get sent daily pictures and videos of their adventures. We love the Mandarin immersion aspect, and our son is fully bilingual thanks to the teachers' efforts. Sarra, the director of Little Bee, runs a tight and efficient ship. The involved PTA organizes many community events, such as monthly playdates, Easter Egg Hunts, an annual Camp Out, Pumpkin Picking, Santa's Brunch, parents' nights out and more across the Funston and Lombard locations. Beyond just a preschool, this is also a supportive, caring, welcoming community of families and we have met many wonderful friends through Little Bee.
