I have been here multiple times for multiple reasons. Yesterday, I purchased Apple Watch 3 Nike edition. The store was extremely busy, yet the wait was under 10 minutes. Everything was quick and easy. Previously, we had a little problem with my boyfriend's Mac Book Pro that I could not solve. We didn't have a Genius Bar appointment, but received help in 5 minutes. It was an easy solve and I asked if they minded if I stayed and used their WiFi to complete some updates. They said to stay as long as we liked! The store has a wide range of multi lingual employees. The man helping me with my new Apple Watch yesterday was French and was helping me in English and another couple in Spanish. Previously, an employee was Latvian and helped us in English and German. My son has a 5-month-old MacBook Pro with AppleCare. 6 weeks ago the screen broke. He took 2 busses from the small town where he lives to the Apple Store in Marbella, Spain. He was told he needed an appointment... despite the fact that this isn'tt something that will be fixed at the Genius Bar.... duh! In the US, if the computer is obviously physically broken, staff will take the computer, fill out some paper work and let the customer know when it will be ready. CATCH 22... there is NO way to make an appointment on line as there are never any appointments available. (Jasmine at AppleCare just tried to do it for us. She was surprised.) His teacher took him a third time and they had the same problem. The manager told them this is standard for all Apple stores. NOTE TO MANAGER. This is NOT standard for all Apple stores. Only yours. TWEETED @Tim_Cook this morning about the issue. Called AppleCare and got upgraded to a senior manager who is looking into this. Note to Apple Store Marbella... business is global. We have never encountered this problem in stores in the US, Germany or UK. You are the face of the company in Spain... setting up roadblocks to obtaining help gives the company a bad reputation. What a bulls*** !!! I called their info line and told lady there I need to change my screen in MacBook Pro, lady was collecting my personal details for 5 min. (name, surname, tel.num., @ etc) then she said she's not from service department and I need to again or come in person...!!! I came to La Canada, waited 5 min. in the line, then a guy with an iPad showed up and ask me for an appointment, I said I don't have one but only want to know how quick and how much will cost me screen replacement. He said he can give me an appointment in 3,5-4h and it will appear on my iPhone when it will be exactly. I asked him if I should wait here for such a long time ??? so he said yes or I can give you an appointment in...7 days What a waste of time!!! Completely unprofessional (except their iPads and software in it to click but with no info whatsoever). Btw. Guy next to me HAD an appointment for his iPhone and asked to buy a computer so he was informed he needs to take another rdv as the rule is - one appointment- one device!!!! Bravissimo!
