Besides being a place where you get excellent, and free, wifi - this is a Apple store as you expect Apple's own stores to be from other places (even resembles the fifth avenue store in New York due to its glass walls). Very knowledge staff, as to be expected, everything Apple and lots of accessories. Accessories may usually be found for better prices online, but for Apple products it is a convenient way to buy (unless you need some very exotic, non-standard configuration of your MacBook). Also, probably best retail store place in Aix next to the big fountain. Protip for visitors: the free wifi is available 24/7, even when the store is closed. Excellent to check email on the way back from the bus terminal or train station if you do not have wifi where you are staying. read more

apple stores in france discriminate against disabled people. i was told i could not enter the aix en provence store as a disabled person with my medically authorised mobility devise. the store manager and security guard told me in english which was witnessed that "i do not look disabled" i filed a complaint with apple. they made me type and mail a letter to their office in dublin. after several weeks i received a phone call saying there was no discrimination and that is my 'feeling' that i am disabled. i 'factually' am disabled and was discriminated against. apple has no right to decide what devise i use for mobility and in fact it is medically authorised and i have two disability tags. quite disgusting that i am welcomed into apple stores internationally except in france where disabled people are discriminated against at apple stores read more

Compared to other Apple Stores I've been to, this one is offering you a much better quality of service... always friendly and here to help you with any question or problem. The Genius Bar is very comprehensive and not pushing you too much toward the purchase of new products. There is a lot of people but it is pretty well managed. Also, the store is well heated, which is great in winter. :) read more

Two words to describe this store: World Class! Not once but twice these fine people went above the call of duty. The first time, I went in there for a cleaning. I came out with a new screen! It turns out there was a recall and asked if it would be ok to replace the screen. There were some blemishes but sort of got used to it. Secondly, I was staying in Hyères about 1:30 minutes away. A bit far but I needed to get some repairs done. I tried in Italy a couple of times but came short both times. We were running out of time as we were leaving on so and so date and they had to order a new piece that was coming from the States. So, they didn't really know what day it was coming, but to reassure us they said that they would expedite the process. When things got a little pressed for time...they said that they had someone that could work on it, individually. Meaning, sometimes there's a bit of an assembly line going on in the back but we would have our own person. In the end, we told them we were leaving the country by noon on Saturday. It was done the evening before. I am VERY GRATEFUL as this had been something I had been trying to fix for a year but due to time constraints couldn't make it happen. Further, because of my first attempt at the store was so good that I had confidence that they could pull it off. Oh ya, the "French" are not known for their customer service. They will admit it themselves, but again, it's a testament to the staff and management that they excel on getting the best of the best. And that is what you'll get coming to the store. Bravo.
