We recently spent several days at this vacation rental property and were really looking forward to it- unfortunately our experience proved to be subpar. As advertised, the property is conveniently located a short walk away from Punta Tegge beach. It also offers a peekaboo view of the ocean from the main deck. Upon arrival, one is greeted by a beautiful garden and the exterior look of the house shows a well-kept building. Unfortunately, the apartment we rented, while spacious and perfect for our space needs, was in need of some tender loving care. The apartment has two bathrooms and two main bedrooms, to which you can add the sofa in the main living room. The mattresses and pillows were worn and the bedding (sheets) was stained in several spots, which made us question their cleaning standards. Luckily the apartment has a washer (no laundry detergent included, so remember to bring some) which was really helpful. Alas, no dryer but it is possible to hang your laundry outside. The kitchen was nice and had a modern look. Unfortunately, there was no dishwasher. None of the windows had screens which caused a huge presence of mosquitos and flies every time they were opened. One day we even saw a lizard on the outside window glass and we were so worried it would come inside that we did not open the window anymore. The walls had a lot of stains and mold- please see pictures. On the bright side, this property does offer wi-fi and parking. Due to its location at the top of a steep cul-de sac, parking can be challenging, especially if driving a manual stick. read more
