TERRIBLE PLACE
Visited last year and waited 15 minutes to be served which was confusing as we were the only people in there. On holiday so kept calm and relaxed while waiting and didn't worry about it. The little old man eventually served us with a moody attitude but we were just amused and said that's why it was empty. We were going for lunch but had 1 drink and left.
Walked past again last week and we were surprised to see quite a few people in the bar so we went in thinking ownership had changed. Unfortunately it had not and after again waiting 15 minutes we got the same guys attention (4th time lucky) and ordered a drink. People on the table behind us were not amused as they were there before us and still had not been served. Moody man came back and threw drinks down without looking at us and again ignored the table behind who promptly got up and walked out (Not sure how long they had been there). Wished we had done the same 'before' being served. Same thing when we tried to pay the bill.. the guy ignored me twice, walking past within inches.
I had to follow him inside the building and ask for the bill again. Told him I was not impressed with being ignored before and after being served and would not be coming back ever. He shrugged his shoulders and walked off.
Certificate of Excellence...really? Would only give them a vote for
Certificate of Bad Service!
P.S. Not sure if they have WiFi as no chance to ask when drinks dumped on table. read more
