When I first started using Apogee I entered my credit card and HSA information in the patient portal so my bill can automatically be paid. Convenient right? I thought so. They did use it a few times. Then I started getting phone calls, emails, text messages daily demanding payment. Then one day someone rudely interrupted my telehealth appointment demanding payment. They didn't introduce themselves, give their name, nothing. I just heard a rude voice demanding I pay. I was shocked. I lost faith in them, that was the last straw. I removed my card information after months of calls and messages, and that rude woman. I refused to enter it again because they still harassed me for payment even though they already had the information. I was getting text messages daily starting at 7am until midnight 7 days a week.one month I received over 40 text messages requesting I pay my bill, or re enter my credit card information. This past friday I received an email demanding payment of my copay 3 DAYS before my appointment. I responded saying I would pay because I needed the appointment. Before I could pay, later that day I received an email from billing saying that they cancelled my appointment. I never heard of paying a copay DAYS before services are rendered. The billing manager cares more about money than you. Im leaving this review in hopes that someone seeking help doesn't get the same treatment I received. BELOW is the email I received Friday. The notification referenced was about the constant text messages requesting I reenter my credit card information. The counselor and reception staff were very nice. The billing department is a nightmare. I never had any issues anywhere else like this especially when they already HAVE your credit card/ hsa information. Disgusting!
We went ahead and removed that notification on your account.
We haven't received the pre-payment copay for Monday's visit. To avoid having someone joining your visit this Monday we went ahead and cancelled your appointment, as we want to avoid causing any stress as indicated before when someone joins.
Kind Regards,
