Of course, the views were amazing, but I was pleasantly surprised that the our kayaking group was small. Renaud speaks great English and is a genuinely good person. He even arranged for his father to pickup one party in our group from the train station! Also he will stay in constant contact with you to keep you updated regarding the weather so give him a French cell number if you have one! Beware that the winds in this area can get very strong, and they may have to cancel. Renaud is sure to check the weather and call you the evening before to confirm the booking. Directions to the parking lot are difficult to follow so leave plenty of time to find the meeting point... Overall an amazing experience!
