This small theme park makes folk tales come to life with Alice in Wonderland walking around in the flesh along with the White Rabbit. There's also Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White and the Queen of Hearts! There's about 50 things to interact with such as theme expositions, carnival rides, entertainers, animal farm and the such. The entertainment are mostly teens with summer jobs but they are very kind and sweet on the kids and do a very good job. They perform a show every 30 minutes and spend their time walking around their areas entertaining kids. It's sorta magical but I would assume it gets a little boring for them. Hopefully they rotate positions! I'd say this place will keep you busy anywhere between 2 to 3 hours. Two adults and a 3 year old set me back about $56 + taxes. Decent value. The food does leave to be desired, for a place with so many kids I would have appreciated more food options instead of 2 food areas with generic hots dogs and burgers.... an effort in this regard would be appreciated. The coffee joint and ice cream joint were closed and left the whole the on-site amenities somewhat to be desired. The park is nice but could use some love, the paths are dates and the whole area looks like it needs some maintenance.

He was absolutely amazing. I got so much better after lessons with him. The people at the ski rental and customer service area were nice and helpful. Wonderful hill worth the somewhat long drive!…read more I came here on a Sunday with my partner. Buying tickets online was super simple. For a 4-hour block, the student price was 40$ + 4.35$ for the rechargeable ski card. We arrived to the hill and there was a sign saying the parking lot was full but we managed to find a spot. For the first time you ski here, you need to go to the ticket booth to get your card. However, for future visits, you just enter your card number when you buy the ticket online and you don't have to wait in any lines when you get there. The hill is very well maintained. Lots of varied runs of varying difficulties. Great options for beginner and intermediate skiers. A few tougher options for more advanced skiers as well as a park for those who like to do tricks. Employees were nice and helpful. Driving back to Montreal in the afternoon/evening on a Sunday took almost 2 hours because of the traffic so be aware of that (especially with the curfew). Even with this minor negative, we have a wonderful day and look forward to coming here again!

Oh, bummer to do this but hafta down my score for this place on account on several inconveniences:…read more 1- You can only book one tent per site at 30$ a night ...u are allowed a 2nd tent on some sites...but hafta pay a whole extra 30$ for it. 2- They charge park access fees (10$/ adult PER DAY) ON TOP of the camping fees (ex: 2 adults for 2 nights of camping plus 3 days access fees = 120$!!! That's unforgivably expensive considering our Ontarian neighbours don't pull this sh*t). 3- You cannot fish off any site or dock or beach...fishing only allowed via boat. So add a boat rental of 30$ for the cheapest for 1 day to ur costs...at this point ur a third of the way to Cuba ... Other than that my previous review still applies: Oh YAY!! What a treat to find such an almost perfect campground so close to home, Québec represent no less: And dog friendly!!!!! Location: Up north in the mountains in the Laurentians just south of Tremblant. Campsites: Such variety!! Fairly private even if u can see ur neighbors. Something for everyone I guarantee it. Rustik camping, trailer camping with services, canoe camping (which include the canoe to get to ur site), treehouses (which include the wheelbarrows to trek ur stuff there), they've got it covered!! We stayed at Bourdon #10 and it was huge (photos)!!! Beautiful view and access to Lac Bonnet (the tinier lake in this park). In fact any of the Bourdon sites were totally nice (site #8 less so because of the layout and #9 less so because of the angle). Bourdon 10 has 2 firepits one of which is right next to the water (which we didn't use because of the wind). It also has a sweet platform of dirt bordered by rocks to pitch ur tent so ur not on an angle. Scenery: This huge awesome campground is surrounded (literally) by many lakes, mountains and gorgeous typical Québec forestry with the largest variety of wild mushrooms you've likely seen anywhere! Weather: Mountain weather, colder and switches quickly to pouring rain. Bring warm gear and lots of water proof stuff, put up a rain shelter stat. Commodities/Accommodations: - DOGS ALLOWED! I do believe there's some petty 2$ charge or sumthin for bringing ur pooch, but it's worth it! Dogs are even welcome on all the hiking trails here!! - Store is also the entrance kiosk with everything you could possibly want: including coffee via Keurig machine! (See photo) All overpriced for what it is but convenient none the less. - Outhouse/ Vault bathrooms as well as full running water/flushing bathrooms; showers; laundry facilities; only ONE area to get drinking water from though and that's all the way at the Pavillion (See photos) - recycling at limited spots, garbage a bit more accessible near each loop: they're the things that look like chicken coops. Prices: see the photos, but also of note they do charge u not only for ur night of camping but also access to the park...so price is pretty expensive per night when u add 2 adults access plus a night of camping, but it's worth it- take advantage of the trails and you'll see what I mean. - Keurig coffees 2$ each for small coffees....but decent and much appreciated! - ice 2.69, 2.99 (plus tax) for cubes or block respectively - wood 10$ per bundle (tax included) crappy wet wood, some bundles bigger than others, but at least 1 bundle per night u stay is included in ur initial costs... We went through 3 bundles in one night and couldn't have a fire the other night cuz of rain. Activities: - So mannnny hiking trails!!! We only did 2 this time (the Sentier des Hêtres which at somepoint u become a walking mosquito buffet and the Panoramique which is quite the work out, soooooo beautiful and worth it, less mosquitos, but still spray!) - Many lakes to fish in (though neither us, nor anyone else we saw fishing in Lac Bonnet caught anything at all over 48 hours of fishing at all different times of day and depths of lake) - Boats to rent for super reasonable prices (photo) - Educational workshops at the Pavillion - A small beach/swimming area, volleyball court, kids parks ...u name it they got it. Wildlife: Saw a bald eagle fly by, plenty of tiny other birds, plenty of small bats in the evening, saw a couple little toads. There was soooooo mannnnnnyyyyy mosquitos, not so much at the camp sites but swarms in some parts of the trails: bring bug spray and use generously!! Otherwise though fairly good bug wise, a few annoying bees but nothing a couple swats can't fend off. (Saw a weasle 2018!) Overall we friggen loved this place so much, will definitely be regulars here and are so happy we discovered this huge secret! I'm sharing it with u all but don't muck it up!! Share the love respectfully!

Ski, Sleep, Eat, Repeat: A Family Getaway at Le Westin Tremblant!…read more If you're looking for the perfect spot to hit the slopes and then hit the apres-ski scene with style, look no further than Le Westin Tremblant! Nestled right in the heart of the pedestrian Tremblant Village, this place is prime real estate for both mountain adventurers and those who'd rather be sipping a hot chocolate by the fire than actually skiing. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Alexia, who checked us in with the kind of warmth you wish your family gave you at holidays. Bonus points for letting us check in early! And let's talk valet parking - it was quick, it was easy, and best of all, our car stayed snow-free in the garage (goodbye, snow-covered car blues). Our room? Cozy and comfy! We had a king-sized bed that felt great after long ski days, plus a pull-out couch that could comfortably fit our two boys (8 & 4). The fireplace? Perfect for those chilly winter nights when you want to feel fancy, but also warm and toasty. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything. The shared balcony was HUGE--ideal for watching snow fall, although we did wish for some patio furniture to sit and sip hot cocoa. But hey, it's a shared space, so I get it! The room did feel a bit dated, but renovations are coming, and I'm all for a good facelift. Let's talk food. If you're lucky enough to have Titanium status (yes, it's as fancy as it sounds), you'll score complimentary breakfasts at Leo every morning. There were four options on the menu - see picture for "Platinum" options - and it was still a great start to our mornings. The place is sleek and modern, but unfortunately, a little understaffed, which made breakfast a slow burn. However, we were lucky enough to have Thomas, our French waiter who was basically the embodiment of charm. He served us with a smile three of our five day stay and made us feel like we were at a Michelin-star restaurant (though no Michelin stars were involved). Now, the location is PRIME. We were literally steps away from everything--restaurants (Poco Loco, Forge, I'm looking at you), ski rentals, lifts, and the Tremblant Activity Centre. We could even pop over to the water park, Mission Laser, and more in just a few minutes. Oh, and those ski lockers on the third floor? A game-changer. Just grab your gear and you're on the lift in minutes--goodbye, waiting in line! We had such a blast that we're already planning our return next year. Here's to another epic apres-ski trip, snow-filled days, and hopefully modern, renovated rooms

I had done a lot of research to figure out the plants I wanted - indigenous to Quebec, perennials, good for the soil and light I have, appealing to butterflies, and friendly together. The selection at Levert is quite vast and still I found what I was looking for in minutes. Plus a couple extras on sale like a blueberry tree I'm so excited about! Everything is clearly laid out in sections that make sense and every plant is labeled with a Quebec flag if it's local, what zone it grows in, how wide and tall it gets, and a helpful description of how it'll look over time. Prices were fair and affordable and service was super helpful, quickly figuring out plant names in French from the English and helping us find the one or two weird things we wanted. In addition to plants, we needed some fill for where some work had been done near the house, plus gardening earth and mulch. We were able to get a yard of each delivered, saving us tons of trips with bags of dirt in the car. They are equipped to help with everything from tiny container gardens to huge flagstone landscapes, and they are family owned and operated by folks who still live about 10 minutes away from the shop. Great people and a great local business, so happy to have them as neighbours.

Had an amazing week of skiing with the family!…read more For a first time skiing in Canada we all agreed this was a good choice. Plenty of terrain for advanced skiing which most of our party was. There are plenty of beginner slopes close by if you are unsure if your little ones are right for hear. I don't typically stop for lunch but I could not help myself in going back time and time again to grab a chili to warm up and thaw out. Loved seeing the fresh baked goods at the top lodge, i can safely say I stayed away from them. Mid week parking very manageable. P2 & P3 lots very close for walking to the access lift. I took a hard slip and fall on the ice so be sure not to take long strides while going through the parking lot. Lift lines were a breeze all week, even on Saturday with the Duncan lift down. Longest I ever waited was 20 minutes on the edge lift, and that was because the lifties did not do a good job clearing snow under the chairs so everyone kept loosing their skis. I bounced around in the singles line and in my group of four and both moved very well. I would absolutely come here again, there is plenty of places to stay around the area so arriving on a Saturday night to ski Sunday is very doable.
