The property needed work, but…read moreone thing we didn't want to do when we moved in was to remove renovation debris from the property so we included in our purchase agreement a request for its removal prior to purchase, which was agreed upon. After the home inspection we realized the debris was not removed per the agreement so we spoke to our lawyer to send a request for its removal ASAP. We assessed all of the issues that might arise owning the property but what we got when we moved in was unprecedented. Upon moving in, there were things broken that were not broken when we had the home inspection a week prior but had been since we requested the cleanup. We were so angry that we contacted our lawyer to consider a law suit. 80% of the outlets throughout the house were not functioning at all. The lights didn't work either. After we had it looked at, we were informed that it appeared someone had been tampering with the electrical to set up lighting in the room we'd requested the debris be removed from. Prior to this date the light in that room was not operational and had been routed to the basement main, because that room was closed off. Someone routed the electrical to that room after the home inspection and they removed *some* of the debris, broke the light and didn't remove the rest. That room is half full of debris and they never restored the electrical to the condition it was prior to their tampering. Buyer beware when purchasing from this team.
