The pastry melts in your mouth. The bread is beyond good & due to restrictions everything is made fresh daily without preservatives. You really must try frittes (French fries) and frickadellen (a meat mix of pork, beef, bread & seasoning with cheese, with sauerkraut, or plain & just add some mustard. History & Family rule here. If you are in Europe it is a must stop. Shopping is great too. I hope someday to return with my granddaughters & their parents so we can show them what we have seen.

Stove, Fridge, and coffee/tea in the unit. They also have a supply of pots, pans, dishes and utensils. A few hundred feet from the unit is a REWE that you can stock drinks and snacks. You will SMELL the bakery below each morning preparing their breads and pastries for the day. What better way to wake up than to the smell of fresh baked goods? Trier is a great city to explore and this would be the perfect home base to do it!

Overall a great place to stay while visiting the Trier area. The building we stayed at seemed…read morefairly new and the room was very modern and spacious. In the room we even had a folder with suggestions and recommendations of local tours and cities to visit while there. During our stay we also enjoyed a great meal with tasty wines. The food was fresh and the wines we sampled were delicious, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, will stay again when in the area.
