We (me and my son) did a tour in Ephesus on August 9 2018 with the tour guide Cayri and had a…read moreterrible experience. He spoke no English during the tour and ignored us. We didn't exist. When security stopped us at the Virgin Mary the guide claimed that everyone was Turkish even though we were American. We didn't know we would have to pay the enter the Virgin Mary house and Ephesus and ended up paying double. I had to borrow money to cover it. Taking a taxi or mini bus would have been much better. They hate tourists. It was the worst tour ever and on a very hot day. I was very angry and later cried. I would not recommend this tour!
