The guy that came (think his name might have been John) was lovely. The rate was reasonable for a few hours work, and he text me the evening before to confirm that he would be arriving at my house at the allotted time. He was really friendly and we had a good chat on the journey to the new flat, where he quickly unloaded all of my crap and wished me the best of luck. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to move - the service was faultless!

I had to move to the the block of flats next door and had been struggling with shifting stuff. As I could not face moving the sofa bed I called the man (actually men!) and van team. They went though what was needed for the move and were very responsive on email. For a price of £60/hour they provided two men and a van with a day's notice and moved all of my heavy stuff in less than two hours! They took great care over the items and took care when moving doing a job that that my friends and I would have taken the whole day to do and potentially damaged items. In terms of practicalities, there is a minimum spend of £90 with £30 of this paid by PayPal as a deposit, the rest is in cash. There is an extra charge for weekend (10% I think) and congestion area jobs but your 10% yelp discount should take care of that. Otherwise happy moving, this company makes it much easier!

They have a simple and convenient online booking system where you can view available timeslots and book an appointment. They sent me a confirmation a day in advance and responded to my emails quickly. They charge a £40 flat fee for a single move (point A to point B) on weekdays, and a £50 flat fee for weekends. You don't pay them until everything is finished. Seems they cover any area with a London postcode. Our driver Leonardo was efficient, professional, and not at all dodgy. And even the cab of the van smelled nice! Would definitely use them again.

I e-mailed the company my enquiry over a Saturday on a bank holiday weekend, and a man from the firm - Westley - called me the following day to clarify some details and offer me a quote which included the cost of having them come up to my flat and bring my old furniture down to their truck. They were also able to come promptly (within a week) which made my mind up when it came to selecting which service to use. On the day itself, I had a call from Westley to confirm what time he could be at the flat, and - this is important - he turned up on time too! He was friendly, came up, got the job done. One item was too large for him to bring down by himself, so he broke it up in my flat, and cleaned up after. I couldn't really ask for anything more! I'd definitely recommend Away With It to anyone who needs a lot of junk carted away. I know the Council offers free services, but they don't offer help when it comes to getting bulky items down! Payment: cash only
