Had a horrible experience with them. As an RRT and and RN I looked this place up to help my aunt in…read moreCosta Rica. I needed a company that would sell me a portable oxygen concentrator so that I can ship it to my aunt who has COPD in Costa Rica. My aunt who is a lawyer over in Costa Rica decided to take my suggestion of this company and buy not only a portable oxygen concentrator but also an extra extended battery for her oxygen concentrator. Purchasing totaling well over $1000.00 CASH. Once she received her simply go mini concentrator November 2019 and her extended battery, first the standard battery that came with the portable device never worked. We contacted them and they were able to exchange the non working battery.. then to my aunts surprise the extended battery didn't work as well, so she contacted one of the owners Manny back in February 2020 who video called and messaged her and told her not to worry they will exchange that battery as well, she asked him if she needed to send it right away or if she could wait for a family member to go to Costa Rica and send it with them and he said not to worry to send it when possible (they had a good relationship and conversation back and forth)....finally 2 weeks ago she finally had the opportunity to send it with family and messaged him yet again to confirm with him, he plesantly remembered her and he once again said not to worry to send it over and he will exchange it. This was a message he typed 2 weeks ago...... Today I present myself with my aunts battery from Costa Rica and get attended by a lady at the warehouse who said that no they cannot exchange it that my aunt would have to buy a new one. It would be $380.00. The wife in a rude manner said the battery has been out of warranty and we should have returned it as soon as we knew it was not working....We tried to explain to her that her husband told us not to worry that we can send it with family whenever possible and we had written confirmation from him where we confirmed 2 weeks ago that this was the case... she proceeded to call her husband and ask him via telephone where he proceeded to lie and state that he didnt say any of this and my aunt would have to buy a new one. Literally covered up his lies and spit a completely different story to his wife as if he was afraid of his wife. This was not the agreement and it was such a blatant lie. Both of them were extremely rude and really unprofessional. The lack of principal this company has is unrelenting. If this was the case my aunt would have sent the battery overnight a long time ago, but this was not what the owner Manny told her she could do. It is not even about the money.. if we wanted to we could buy 10 batteries but the problem is the lack of.principal. BOTH batteries failed at the beginning and this proves the lack of quality in the product..... DONT BUY from them. My aunt is a senior citizen with COPD who depends on this machine, and both the batteries failed, and she could have replaced them within the proper time frame but didn't because the owner told her not to worry to send it when she had the time, (we are in the middle of a pandemic), then at the end of the day they withdraw their word and make her pay for a new battery, THIS COMPANY WILL BE REPORTED TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU all they want is your money and their word is worth less than zero.

After speaking with her and her assistant, Edna, I was so excited to write this review. Dr Clersaint was prifessional, friendly, thorough and most of all she was patient and listened. She explained why I was feeling uncomfortable on my left foot. She suggested a specific pad for calluses to use and even search on the internet for one that was not so expensive. I told her although I put lotion on my feet, when I wake up they are still dry. She sent a prescription for the lotion she wants me to use and looked on the internet for several other options. She examined my feet and removed the calluses. She requsted my referral for my shoes and told me that it would come with directions on which companies my insurance covered. I highly recommend Dr. Clearsaint. Kudos to her assistant Edna also.

As an example, I had lab work (blood sampling-- something that makes me cringe) but the tech person (Merlis Donado) was able to make me laugh during the "bloodletting" with a story she told me while taking my blood. THAT I appreciate! Before I knew it, it was over and I was out of there. You can't ask for more than that.

On 12/10, I used my pharmacy's app to request refills on four prescriptions. My pharmacy messaged the Mount Sinai Miami Shores office on 12/11 to refill the four prescriptions. When I called the pharmacy on 12/16 to see if the prescriptions were ready, they said Mount Sinai had not gotten back to them yet. That same day, 12/16, I went to the MyChart app to see if I could refill the prescriptions there. The note on all the prescriptions was that the request for refills could not be made through the app, so I called the doctor's office (call #1) to let them know that the request for refills had been made by my pharmacy the week prior. Two of the four prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy. The resulting message on MyChart listed the meds I requested, along with a medication I'd never heard of. I called back on 12/19 (call #2) to put in request for the two meds they didn't send the first time, and was assured that it would be handled. On 12/21, I called the pharmacy and was told they never received any authorization from Mount Sinai Miami Shores for the last two prescriptions. I sent my doctor a detailed message through MyChart letting him know what happened. He never replied. On 12/23, I called again (call #3) and explained the situation. I was told a priority message would be sent to the doctor. On 12/24, today, I woke up to find that one of the meds had finally been called in to my pharmacy. The remaining medication had a note that I could take the written prescription to any pharmacy. I didn't have a written prescription! I called the pharmacy and was told that they had sent a request for the refill first thing this morning. I called Mount Sinai Miami Shores (call #4) and asked to speak to a supervisor, but was directed to the same lady who had told me it would be done the first time, back on 12/16. She said she would make sure the medication was called in to my pharmacy ASAP. I guess ASAP didn't mean today, because Mount Sinai is now closed for Christmas and my medication still hasn't been called in to my pharmacy. NOTE: Prescription #3 that was received today had a change in the dosage. WTH? I am so disgusted with this entire process. Fix the app and get better personnel that can handle simple requests. I understand that the holidays are hectic for everyone and that doctors' offices are very busy, but waiting two weeks for refills, and still not getting one of them, is unacceptable. I will be discussing this with my doctor, as I've made the next available appointment with him (February) to go over my meds.
